Ray Allen is Miami's PROBLEM now. Prima Donna - a vain or undisciplined person who finds it difficult to work under direction or as part of a team.

Rationalizing. Ray scored 14.2 ppg on 45 percent shooting from 3 point range. That is an incredible shooting performance.
Add in the fact that we can't go acquire any kind of talent, much less a good player, and Allen's leaving severely depletes our roster.
Let's no underestimate what this does to our team. We have no SG right now. Terry is a bench player, and Bradley is a hurt combo-guard.
UGh. Starting to sink in.

He isn't, but at this point he's a little more versatile. But, the plan was to play both of them.

I am saying that. Why is it that he asks the celtics for 27 million yet signs with the heat for 9? Allen had no desire to come back here. He purposely made his asking price so high because he knew the celtics could not afford to pay him.

post his numbers from the playoffs. No wait, i will.
10.7ppg on 30.4% from 3. Had the surgery, at 37, not sure he'll ever be the same.
I'm not as mad at losing that, as i am missing out on the chance for a clutch 3 from time to time for nothing.
it's the same as james. I'm not even mad that he left, it's how he did it. YOu go to the 1 team u just lost game 7 too in conference finals for less then half the money.....
If we offered 6m, and he got 5. ok, but that's just and FU to boston, So FU right back. Cant wait for KG to level him coming around a screen.

Won't happen (and rightfully so). Doc and Danny have too much class for that.

I don't think it was a secret that Allen wanted the Heat. That's why the Celtics bid so much for him, knowing they would have to overpay to get him to stay. He didn't make his asking price, that just how much the Celtics offered.
Right now it looks bad, but in a year you may be thanking Allen for taking up 6 million of the Heat's cap instead of 12 million of yours.
