When this happened, my sister (who knows almost nothing about basketball) told me that we got Nash, and I pretty much just laughed at her and told her I heard that rumor too (I wasn't even checking the internet because I figured no one works on the 4th, including players, agents, etc.). Eventually, after a while, I figured out that she doesn't check rumor sites or realgm, and I rushed to my computer and was in shock when I saw we signed him. I also must say it's fun to read people's reactions to the signing/trade, both good and bad.

I have to say, I have a lot of respect for Suns fans. Even if they're saying "**** the Lakers" back in their own forums, I wouldn't even have a problem with that (I would do the same thing). Tremendous class, wishing the Suns a lot of luck in their future.

It was me.......Doormatt, I don't mind that he's still flaunting this.I stand corrected on them still. Just look at their Finals performances.

Deep, don't take it personal; the only reason your quote is still in my sig is that a) I'm lazy and b) I haven't found anything with which to replace it. Also, been posting from my phone a lot of late.

at this point in their careers i rather have gasol. better defender and better rebounder. more efficient too.

And friggin' how... back-end sweep!

Sefo just couldn't shoot in the Finals, it was #epicfail. The worst part is that he'd been performing pretty well in the playoffs until getting shut down in that series by Miami's defense. Collison played well, but of course he is only useful for so many minutes because he's not a threat to do a lot but get garbage points. Nick played good defense and rebounded extremely well, but with Brooks' insistence on playing Perkins, there were only so many minutes to go around in the frontcourt. Odd choice, that, given the injury Perk had and how largely useless he is on offense. Between all that and Harden electing not to show up for the series, well, wow... Felt a lot like what the Heat did to Dallas in 06, in a way.

In any case, I'm rambling. Still waiting to see what happens with Dwight.

If Blake is indeed a part of the rumored deal for D12 I hope the Lakers give Morris a shot to be the backup PG... he was a very talented passing PG in college and I would like to see what he could do under Nash's tutelage.

Suns withdrew QO for Aaron Brooks, he's now an unrestricted FA.

I fully expect him to end back up in Houston if NY matches the contract for Lin.

Knicks are certainly matching Lin, I think Brooks wants to play for a contender. Houston isn't that at all.

With the Lakers getting Nash and possibly D12 also, can you imagine what playing with the Lakers on NBA 2K13 will be like? AWESOMENESS!!!

Look around, not too many contenders other than us needed/need a PG.

With Steve on the floor you dont have to run the triangle just let him do with thing-pick and rolls with Gasol and Kobe. Also you will be suprised to find that when Kobe isolated and gets doubled, Nash playing off the ball will drill the 3 better than anyone in the league; and that isnt an exaggeration if you look at his career shooting numbers. You can also have Steve run the offense every minute that Kobe is on the bench its going to be a huge asset you will see; he is not only super skilled but his IQ is also off the charts. Great locker room guy too.
