Bit of an ugly omen, but I can't really talk seeing how my favourite player was Shawn Bradley.

#Bobcats say they have signed No. 2 overall pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Fairly simple these days under rookie scale.
Xavier Henry says "screw off".

Xavier Henry held out on his rookie deal Quick.
Not as simple as Bonnell claims.
fatlever wrote:correct, even though the rookie salaries are pretty much pre-determined, teams can offer slightly more money (up to a %), which has become the norm for all rookie deals. the grizz decided they werent going to do this for henry. henry responded by holding out.

It wasn't him holding out - wasn't it the Grizzlies?

Every rookie gets 120% of the rookie scale. Always.
The Grizz decided they were going to give him 80 or 100 (don't remember which) and leave the possibility for it to go to 120 if he hit certain achievements. He responded with "**** you I'm holding out"

I would strongly disagree

Basketball is about being able to put the ball in the basket, being able to shoot (at least decently) is essential in order to successfully put the ball into the basket. Sure I guess if the guy was paraplegic, couldn't catch, or thought basketball was soccer that it would outweigh an inability to shoot the ball, but lets be honest- if you can't shoot, you can't score, if you can't score than you are at best a role player. Role players don't get picked with the #2 pick in the NBA draft.

penquin11 wrote:Did you seriously just say "Dont worry about his J"? How the **** are we not supposed to worry about his shot- its the single most essential skill that you need to play basketball! And also its not that MKG needs to "work on" or "improve" his jumpshot- its that he needs to "change/fix" it which is something that will take more than just casual practice, he will have to change an aspect of his game that he has used since he was playing in middle school, which worries me.

So... yeah, I mean, I still disagree.
