I find it hard to believe that they wont make at least a trade or two to round out their line up better but yeah right now it makes no sense how they are going juggle all those PFs on their roster but you also conveniently forgot Asik.

This is all part of Moreys evil plan to get a center.

Next years draft should ensure them one if they are near the top with Noel, Gobert, Zeller or Austin.

Who knows what they are playing at. They have made all kinds of stupid moves so far this off season.

Wow, that roster is really different from last year's. They will suck bad but have Lamb and Terrence Jones to build around + presumably a low lottery draft pick

Morey's always been an overrated GM.

This is his masterplan coming together.

No one has mentioned horrible backloaded contracts to Asik & Lin! I think Kevin McHale has an Isaiah Thomas aura about him.

The Rockets been stuck in the middle for so long.. if they was a Eastern Team they would have made the playoffs at least twice the past few years. They may have alot of one position but atleast of quality players... sometimes it's like you have a broken bone.. and the doctor says you know it's best if it was a complete break so it can heal properly.... So you got to break the team apart and still be flexible to get a Superstar or go Young with a few future picks... The Rockets are in a better position than being mediocre and in cap hell... Give it time, at least they are trying and making moves and the pieces will fit in time...

I think Morey just got tired of trying to build a team with the 14th pick and trying to trade for superstars that doesn't want to be in Houston. It's time to start over. Everybody knew it was going to be a tough transition when Yao retired. And the Yao era began by having the 1st overall pick in the 2002 draft.

In the west, but don't forget about my bobcats we will be the worst and we will have the best shot at Muhammad, Noel, Zeller or Macado so tell Morey to get a center because we will still be worse then his team. This is a good draft for the Rockets to tank since they need a legitimate c. Noel, Zeller, Adams,Austin could all be star-superstar centers.

As a life long Rockets fan I hope we're in the bottom 5. Being 9th in your conference with no star is a terrible position to be in. The only thing worse is that team with a bunch of big and long contracts, luckily we don't have that problem. This is actually our best offseason in the last 3 years. The direction we're going in is what's best for the franchise.

Id like us to contend now, but between the Heat, Lakers, Thunder and (maybe) Nets no team has a chance without 2-3 superstars.
This is ****ing chess not checkers.

Who is to say that isn`t his masterplan lol(to suck), he probably wanted to rebuild for a while, but ownership always wanted a competitive team.

Obviously we're looking to draft some high lottery prospects to build around. Obviously...

Dear god I hope so...
A top 3 pick would be great next season, especially if it puts us in position for Noel.

Makes total sense.

PG: White / Livingston
SG: Martin / Lamb
SF: Parsons / Jones / Morris
PF: Scola / Patterson / Brockman
C: Leuer / Motiejunas / Smith

/green.

EDIT: They might actually play that.

I'm pretty sure thst is the plan now. Plan A this offseason was to acquire D12. And if we still have chance and actually get him Morey's #1 priority would be to put major pieces around him. I wouldn't be 100% sure if that would be the be the best move or not.

At least 1 of Martin and Scola will be gone soon if not both. Aint no half-ass tanking over here.
