^ "Loyal" is word mocked up by Magic PR for damage control. Everyone knows there was an ultimatum at the deadline, it's no secret.

That's the problem in Orlando, it's been the problem for years. They're making no moves or the wrong moves. That's not on the players.
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
How can anyone honestly say the Magic can offer Dwight a better chance to win than Brooklyn or the Lakers?
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
So how can anyone be upset at Dwight, or any player, that asks to be moved to a better situation? You're not mad at GMs that trade players.
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
It's a business. I understand the emotional investment, but fans must stop personalizing a player's decision. It blurs the lines.

This guy Rudolph is a REAL mental midget. The Magic fans have been pissed off at Otis for a long time. He obviously has not been paying attention. And he obviously has not been paying attention with regards to how Howard has handled all of this. I can not stress strongly enough what a blithering idiot this Rudolph truly is. Does he get paid for this? If he does, it should be considered a crime. The ignorance he displays is mind boggling.
And I guess players are NOT responsible for being lazy, underachieving, narcissistic prima dona's!

Does not change the fact that he said it.

I'm sure there was an ultimatum at the deadline. We were just using our leverage. He asked for trade and we were trying to get the best value for him.

All media people get paid. It is called kickbacks. Example: Addidas could have even sponsored or advertised Rudolph and that would definitely change his tune. It truly is that easy.

Agree 100%. It would be really nice to just talk about basketball for once instead of what state Dwight's mind is in every single hour.

Except that's what D12 said was his reason for not opting out.

I don't consider it to be an ultimatum if he asks to be traded and we tell him ok. Where we trade him is up to us because we have to live with after trade life not him.
He burned his ETO because of the money in hopes we will trade him later to his desired destination. Guess what, we not doing it! We will trade you to a place that offers us something we like. If there is nothing we like we will not trade you. You will have to resign with us to cash in or walk to whatever team that has cap for way less money. Choice is yours. Simple us that.

wow Jrudolph is a clown. how is the team going to make any moves if their superstar player is not committed to staying. he has held the team at a standstill. who would sign with orlando if dwight had an intention to leave...i'm sure we could've gotten steve nash if dwight said he'd stay..then trade ryan anderson jrich for some other players. even send jj

Pretty much. If he really wanted out that badly, he should've just accepted the trade to LA or Houston and walked to Brooklyn in the summer.

There are other things that could've been said. Such as "I'm willing to give the Magic some more time to make moves. I'm not 100% sure that I want to leave yet....etc etc". Not "I'm loyal" (knowing that a few months later you are going to request a trade again?). That is about the worst thing you can say because it makes you look like a liar and demonizes you (as it has done to his reputation).

When a source says something you like, they're the best. When that source says something negative, they're the biggest moron ever. Don't forget J.Rudolph broke the ETO waiver story. He's not as futile as you all make him out to be.

I didn't say futile...I said this string of tweets pissed me off, because it wasn't accurate.

What was inaccurate? The other elite teams we competed against (LAL,BOS) stayed Championship caliber while having tons of trade assets (Bynum, Pau, Rondo, Odom)...

We on the other hand, fell from elite-ness and have no tradable assets to make a big splash... Meanwhile, teams like NJ, NY & LAC were competent enough to have a plan and are a force to be reckoned with.... heck even ATL is in position for a bright future... Meanwhile Dwight is litterly the one thing on this team sepetaring us from Playoff team and Lottery team. No other team has a single player that makes such a disparity... It's a joke what this F.O has done with our team.

Let's see, what was inaccurate.
Harsh reality for Magic fans: The two teams dominating the trade rumors have made upgrades to improve their teams. What has Orlando done?

Well, we replaced the GM, the scouting staff, and the front office staff. We're interviewing coaches. Basically overhauling management. And based on Dwight's petulant tantrums, we are about to trade him away as well.
So how can anyone be upset at Dwight, or any player, that asks to be moved to a better situation? You're not mad at GMs that trade players.

Um, except we all are, and we replaced him. And how can we be upset? It's an emotional attachment to the team - thus the term FAN which is short for FANATIC. Saying don't be upset when your star player twists and turns the fanbase in the winds is, frankly, upsetting :)
How can anyone honestly say the Magic can offer Dwight a better chance to win than Brooklyn or the Lakers?

Good Lord, it's not like this team has gone 20-62 the past five years. Dwight was demanding a trade to the Nets way before they made moves to improve. And guess what, if Dwight had recruited DWill to COME PLAY HERE, all DWill had to do was what, demand a trade to Orlando? See KOBE for reference, with Steve Nash as a perfect example.
It's a business. I understand the emotional investment, but fans must stop personalizing a player's decision. It blurs the lines.

This statement makes absolutely zero sense. Stop personalizing a player's decision? How does that blur the lines? By making the player think 'hey, maybe I AM being an a-hole here?' That would be a real shame, if Dwight felt guilt over his actions.
