Nobody was hating on Dwight until he started acting like a god damn idiot. We all knew Otis was to blame for the team and made it known loud and clear.

Harsh reality for Magic fans: The two teams dominating the trade rumors have made upgrades to improve their teams. What has Orlando done?
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
That's the problem in Orlando, it's been the problem for years. They're making no moves or the wrong moves. That's not on the players.
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
How can anyone honestly say the Magic can offer Dwight a better chance to win than Brooklyn or the Lakers?
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
So how can anyone be upset at Dwight, or any player, that asks to be moved to a better situation? You're not mad at GMs that trade players.
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
It's a business. I understand the emotional investment, but fans must stop personalizing a player's decision. It blurs the lines.

I'm happy to have this go on as long as it takes to benefit the Magic. This is fun I like it. I don't want to take a bad deal just because some fans can't take the heat.

"Loyal" is word mocked up by Magic PR for damage control. Everyone knows there was an ultimatum at the deadline, it's no secret.

Except that's what D12 said was his reason for not opting out.

"I'm very loyal and I've always put loyalty above anything".
It's damage control, did you want him to say "these suckas wont trade me!"... and cause even more of a circus?

C'mon, you guys can't be this blind.

All he had to do was show a little patience and he could be going to the Nets this year in free agency. He was injured the rest of the year anyway. ALL HIS FAULT.

Unless you count signing / trading for Rashard, Bass, Rafer, Vince, Ryno, Hedo, JRich, Clark, or BBD.

Look, I am definitely not saying they all worked out - some did, some didn't - but to say we made no moves to try and improve the team during Dwight's career here is blatantly false.

I didn't say we didn't make any move when Otis was I here, I said we didn't make any meaningful moves. I mean, how many times have we heard Orlando is going to get "Such and such player" and it never happens. I still remember the Chris Paul thing when every reporter said we almost had Chris Paul, well why didn't we get him then? We take chances on the wrong players instead of going for the potential young talent. Remember when we had Matt Barnes? We let him go to sign Quentin Richardson to a FOUR YEAR DEAL! We should have kept Barnes. That's what Orlando does, thinking they're improving but in reality, making us worse. Just go look at the Hedo-Jason-Gilbert trades we did in December 2010. At the time, we thought they'd be great. Now, we think they're garbage and one of the reasons we have two bad contracts.

Orlando really needs to change the way they do things, because we keep losing players. There is a reason why San Antonio was able to keep Duncan, there is a reason why Los Angeles was able to keep Kobe (Even though he requested a trade), there is even a reason why Phoenix was able to keep Steve Nash for so long.

All I'm saying, is Dwight isn't fully to blame here. Yeah, Dwight is wrong with the way he did things, so were we. Rob has a big job to do to fix this franchise. I really hope he's as good as we think he is.

FYI, I won't like Dwight after he leaves because of the way he handled everything and the fact that he is showing ZERO loyalty. If he stays, however, I will go back to loving him.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

Nets = D12 is best player on a championship level team in NYC market.

Magic = D12 is best player on a 1st round exit team in small market.

Decisions, decisions.....

Get the story straight. "Is it they won't trade me", or "Ultimatum at the deadline"?

The truth is most of us are just ready to trade Dwight and get new players anyways. We're prepared and ready to hope he never wins a championship wherever he goes. To boo him when he returns to Orlando. To hope Andrew Bynum puts up 30-40 on him when he returns. The problem with Rudolph is he only responds to people who are A) Just asking a question or B) Has a terrible argument against his. He's not going to make himself look bad haha Like Dwight, he don't know/care that he already does look bad because Dwight is more important to him than his self-respect…. A championship is more important to Dwight than his self-respect….. Guess we all got those things that are more important than our character/integrity…. You've found Rudolphs and Dwights though….

Wrong. Money is more important than Championships to Dwight. Brooklyn and Lakers provide an opportunity for Dwight to make over a $100 million more than he would in Orlando if his Adidas contract is true.

This.

And remember, it's not like he would be making chump change here. If he extends he gets $80 million, if he plays the year out and resigns he makes $100 million.

So the real question is - how much money does a pro athlete really need to make? Isn't $80 million more enough? Apparently not.

Well money doesn't hurt…. He definitely wants the Money/Championship combo…. If he keeps having kids though he'll be broke by 40 so can't say I can blame him there lol

Shameless plug - if somebody wants in on the Build-A-Team forum game, may need 1 or 2 replacements.
