Does Collison have any worth in Houston's eyes?

He put up spectacular stats as a starter in NO's (18/4/9). I see no reason he couldn't average 16/4/8 instantly in the right offense.

Asik isn't that good, now. It's the Thib's system that made him really great. He was always out with players who'll consistently box out.

How did we go from having 2 quality pg to no pg in a week?

Not counting Parsons and Morris, who will play SF, Rockets have:

-1 center (Smith)
-3 center/forwards (Motiejunas, Leuer, Brockman)
-5 power forwards (Scola, Patterson, White, Jones, Aldemir)

That's 9 bigs on a team that usually only needs 4-5. Wonder which 5 guys will be getting cut.

Fortson and Simpson don't have guaranteed contracts so can be waived. Maybe Smith and Brockman too.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

That roster makes me sniffle. We'd better get a damn good draft pick next year.

I am honestly happier to be in our situation than NY's...
Melo=Chucker
Amare=Fragile
Kidd=Old
Chandler= Not nearly as valuable without Dirk
All of that = Lots of $ and no chance for a ring

i think Livingston has non-guaranteed contract so he may be gone
not sure about Simpson, Smith, Fortson contract
we have way too many PF so i can see Brockman is gone too
Lamb, Jones, White all not sign yet so we can easily trade their draft right for future pick if have to

i'm seeing us keeping martin as an expiring for howard trade....probably why we not seeing anything regarding him in trade rumors. we are piling up picks even trying to get a 1st round pick for camby in S&T. i think the rockets want to give the magic as many picks(1st round ones) and a few of our young players since the magic are intent on rebuilding from ground up(multiple young players and picks)...using martin to make salaries work out if we take back either Duhon or JRich's contracts.
