Won't happen. The NBA would just move that team out of your city.

Harsh reality for Magic fans: The two teams dominating the trade rumors have made upgrades to improve their teams. What has Orlando done?
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
That's the problem in Orlando, it's been the problem for years. They're making no moves or the wrong moves. That's not on the players.
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
How can anyone honestly say the Magic can offer Dwight a better chance to win than Brooklyn or the Lakers?
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
So how can anyone be upset at Dwight, or any player, that asks to be moved to a better situation? You're not mad at GMs that trade players.
Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
It's a business. I understand the emotional investment, but fans must stop personalizing a player's decision. It blurs the lines.

I have no problem with what Rudolph said here. I agree with everything he said. And he spoke the truth. If the Magic had a more competent front office, we wouldn't be having this conversation. NoLimit aint lying. It is a "harsh reality."

What did Rudolph say? Looking through his tweets and I can't find anything recent.

I had no idea Josh Smith and Monta Ellis made their respective teams title favorites every year.

The way the same people keep naming those two guys makes my head want to explode, regenerate itself, and explode again.

It's July 7th and Hennigan has been on the job less than a month. His time has been dominated by the draft process, an ongoing coaching search, and of course the Dwight situation. What "upgrades" does Rudolph think should have been made in that time?

Rudolph simply must remain a Dwight fanboy and apologist because that's the only subject he has any kind of insider access to. There's a harsh reality for ya.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Steve Nash didn't lead his team to the playoffs lat year, and Ray Allen went out with a wimper. How come the Lakers, and Heat are considered even more dangerous having acquired them? I dunno, maybe becasue it compliments what they already have and makes their respective teams better even though neither can actually lead a team by themselves? Dunno, just might be...

He's doing a lot more than those 3 things. I think people have this misconception that all the GM does is sit around thinking up trade scenarios or calling agents when they want to make an offer. I'm pretty sure the GM has a lot of responsibilities that we never see or hear about. I doubt he's spent the last month spending 40-60 hours a week (or more) just looking at who he wants to coach or putting together trade proposals and negotiating with teams trying to get the best offer, which IMO shouldn't take long.

I don't understand teams talking for weeks on end about a trade.

What Rudolph said was true LAST YEAR. Dwight signed his ETO, if we are this bad of an organization why sign the ETO? Because he was given an ultimatum? Of what, sign it or go to another team of our choice for 2 months? That should be just fine with himbecause he'd still get to the nets like he wanted.

Let's face it people, Dwight isn't very mature and he is easily influenced by those around him.

My prediction, if we get him to training camp he will change his mind again and want to stay, he will then need to sign the extension (if possible). I am still ok with him walking.

A trade is nearing, the sudden silence on the Dwight situation must be a sign.

Could we stop saying Dwight needs to stay? Granted, I was one of the main people holding out and hoping he'd sign an extension but at this point the bridge has been burned. Dwight Howard is about as liked as Casey Anthony in the Orlando area at the moment. It's time to move on.

The simple reality is that Dwight is not a leader. I think he knows this as evidenced by his desire to skip town to join another superstar who will lead. He may not want to be here, but we shouldn't want him here with a mentality like that.

I'm thinking Ron is traded w/Bynum.

Daniel Artest ‏@TheRealDMArtest
Ron has a feeling he's outta LA. Doesn't wanna leave but what can he do.
