Rockets answer at PG is McCalebb
He currently have a 2mil buyout with his Club, but Dragic was to be offered well above that amount, so if Rockets can offer more than 4 years 18mil, I am sure he would be willing to leave.

Re: Rockets answer at PG is McCalebb
A bunch of Europe teams are bidding for his services now, only issue is the 1.5mil euro buyout. However, I am sure if a NBA team was to negotiate with him, as has been done before, they can work the buyout into his contract....so whatever the contract would have been 1.5mil euro less.
Houston, losing Dragic and Lowry, would be CRAZY to allow McCalebb to sign another contract with a europe club.......since he will be signing, if he sign Europe, he would be looking at 3 years or so....lock him up NOW

none of our pf is undersized
most are over 6'9" w/ shoes (only 2 less than that)
we don't really have a center

Re: Rockets answer at PG is McCalebb
anyone following world basketball can easily say that mccalebb is an nba-quality talent, and not only tj ford type talent, gilbert arenas type talent.
mccalebb has been a legend in euro basketball (which produces extremely talented point guards because the game doesn't depend on athleticism in europe, it depends on creativity and team work. which is why people like ricky rubio are becoming stars in the nba.) let me tell you this, rubio was a decent player in europe, and that was it. mccalebb is a person who can take an average team to the final four almost every year.
he has incredible skills, he is a wonderful scorer, but he also knows when to pass. if these aren't enough, bo mccalebb is the latest definition of the word "winner". he took a national team like macedonia (a country that probably hasn't been seen in any tournaments in any team sports) from the eurobasket qualifications pretty much all by himself. i remember people being pissed at fiba for increasing the amount of teams in the tournament from 16 to 24, adding that even macedonia was in the tournament.
the result? macedonia make it to the semi finals, defeating teams like greece, lithuania, russia and slovenia. they were eliminated by spain, who in the end were the champions as expected, but mccalebb and co. became a legend.
this year he did something similar in euroleague, and mccalebb is definitely nba ready. he really is, "the answer".

Yay, more people joining the bandwagon. I've been preaching for some time now.
It's quite rare that so many people agree on a guy being very good. Pretty much anybody who's familiar with him knows he'd be a great addition to any NBA team. Yeah, he's only 5'10 to 5'11, but the guy can just flat out ball.
Bring him to Houston Morey!

Re: Rockets answer at PG is McCalebb
NBA teams are only allowed to match up to 500k for a buyout. That was Rubio's problem.
I love Lester's story. Lester was the one shining light of New Orleans basketball who has improved his numbers in college just about every year despite having 3 coaching staff changes in 4 years. He continues to show improvement in Europe and he is extremely successful in Euroleague play last year.
That being said, there are many reasons why he didn't get drafted. He's short, folks were (unjustly) critical of his stroke, despite percentages to the contrary. He's not a traditional pass first guard in the but a really combo guard that can do everything. (In fact, he had to play the 4 at stretches during his junior year.)
Therefore, naturally scouts that have never paid the time to watch him say he doesn't have a position in the NBA. New Orleans is considered backwards when it comes to Hoops connectivity. AAU teams there do not travel fair to play other teams. Most of the local players get noticed _after_ they left the city. Which is unfair, but as one of his team mates once said, Lester 'Bo' McCalleb's biggest mistake was to continue to stay in New Orleans after Katrina. Lester's mom was sick at the time, so he stuck around.
He's naturalized for Macedonia now and plays for them in international matches. I'll be interested in seeing what he can do for the Rockets when his contract is up.

Brooks is 27 as well. Sessions is 26.
To be quite honest, I'm not sure why he isn't in the NBA yet. He has done everything one could ask for. He's constantly performed on the highest level against top level Euroleague competition. He was one of the best players in the European Championships last year. He outperformed the likes Rubio, Dragic and Llull. Played on a level with Tony Parker.
So...
I guess teams either don't want to or don't have the cap space to pay his buyout.

Why are you going to multiple team boards posting the same exact thing (only replacing the [Team Name] answer at PG is McCalebb?) Are you Bo McCalebb's: a) agent, b) grandma, c) girlfriend, d) stalker?
