We are losing big guys left and right from this team, so they cut Rudy at 6-8???

Not to mention, they choose Iggy and Harden over him???? WTH?????

I'm pretty convinced they picked Harden just because Westbrook/Durant are there too
I would've picked Iggy/Gay/Gordon but from what I've heard Gordon's heart wasn't in it and he was bad at practices. I can't see either of those two[Harden/Gordon] getting significant minutes anyway however. If Spain still had Rubio I'd have slight worry for our chances of Gold, but without him we're more than capable of winning.

Gordon still pissed about NOLA possibly matching the contract PHX offered. He does not wish to be part of a rebuilding team inspite coach Williams efforts to reinforce some confidence that the team will be built around him.

Gordon is nuts - the Hornets could be really great in a year or 2 with the pieces they're adding...

The players should stay out of management and just do their job. All these guys demanding trades and saying they want to play for a winning team is bullcrap. You can't play for your team then YOU are the loser. I just read now Raja Bell wants to go to a winning team. Funny. Your team made teh playoffs WITHOUT your help. Now you want to go to a "winning" team? I hope he ends up with the Bobcats.

Now Rudy Gay getting cut from TeamUSA to me is like a knife in the heart. I lost all my hopes for the Olympics now.

Raja Bell just about done. He really hasn't been the same player since his days in PHX. It's funny that you mentioned the Bobcats. He already played for them around 4ys ago. He won't go back.

Can't say I'm surprised after how he played in the playoffs this year. Might have been a "chemistry" issue.

Adding further insult to injury, an unproven with ZERO international competition experience, Anthony Davis, has been called back to Vegas to replace injured Blake Griffin. Anthony Davis showed promise in the college NCAA tournament this spring, so much so he was taken as unanimous number pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. Rudy Gay has played for the gold medal in the 2010 FIBA and logged 6 years of experience as a star player in the NBA, helping the Grizzlies return to respectability. Despite having far more talent, and experience, the larger body and more athleticism, the 25 year old Rudy Gay is passed over for an 18 year old unproven who gives up at least 10lbs (officially) in muscle mass to the former.

I'm hoping journalists will probe into this to find out what are the dirty details on why Rudy Gay has been removed from Team USA. He must have clashed with coaches or players or perhaps vowed not to return when they originally cut him. It's a shame to see our team being assembled from 3rd rate players instead of putting together the best possible team for the chance to win gold. This is really bad news!

this is getting ridiculous!

Might have been a "chemistry" issue.

yeah obviously something. Also I think no one admits it but the executives at NIKE and McDonalds, Gatorade, etc are DEFINITELY behind the assemblage of these teams. Anthony Davis might be their new way of selling and marketing people to buy NEW jerseys, NEW shoes, etc. Rudy Gay doesn't have the financial draw. If this is really how low Rudy Gay's value has sunk then we would be amnestying him today. This is pathetic!!!!!

Rudy Gay is not a power forward, and I would probably rather have Anthony Davis for defensive purposes.
