No doubt he will get the Ray Allen treatment. Think he will give Riley an answer by Monday?

If we want him he's ours.

Still not convinced he has anything left though.

I think he has plenty. Going to DC and their dysfunction didn't help his career. I'll blame them for any disappearing act he may have had:)

I'm excited about the possibility of getting this guy. He was Orlando's backbone during their Finals run a few seasons ago. He made big shot after big shot. We need as much of that as we can get.

There is absolutely no risk if he signs for vet min.

Where else would he go? We just won, he won't be the main star so he won't have pressure or anything, reunite with Ray Allen. IT'S MIAMI. He can freakin' spend the money he got for doing nothing and buy a house in the Grove lol.

If he is merely 80% of the player he was in Orlando, he's still a great fit as a role-playing stretch 4. That gives us 4 different looks at the spot: Bosh, Haslem, Lewis and Lebron. If he can get closer to 90% of what he was, that's a HUGE coup by Riley.

Too sick if they get him. Past season they cleary lacked some depth, if they can add Lewis this will help them a lot.

Would be a marked improvement over Haslem on the offensive side.

If he does end up signing here, and playing well, what does that mean for Haslem's role? He lost his jump shot last year and didn't impact the game like he has in year's past. I'm a big fan of what UD has done for this team, but he'll have to kick it up a notch to stay relevant IMO.

Haslem stays relevant for his rebounding mainly. He's still the best defensive rebounder on our team.

If we get a him, then we our bench production will increase tenfold.
Bench:
Cole/Allen/Lewis/Battier/Miller/Jones/Haslem/Anthony

And then you have to realize at least one of the Big 3 will always be playing which will open up shots for Cole, Allen, and Lewis.

We averaged 25.7 ppg off the bench, if we get Lewis I honestly see us getting 35 ppg off the bench minimum.

Sweet!

One more roster spot, and we are done. Great off-season.

LOL, that isn't much of a "call," everyone was saying we are the heavy favorites to land him and that he's fine with a vet min deal. Not much drama here, I fully expect him to sign
