Do you want Lewis?

Very much. I think I was the first person on this board to mention his name.

I would've LOVED Batum but I knew from day 1 that he would be too expensive, so Lewis was the obvious (IMO) choice.

There is NOTHING bad about getting Rashard, onwards and upwards only with this team.

I like the potential Lewis brings but I really don't have any expectations.

That said, I like this for a frontcourt rotation...

LeBron 20 / Battier 28
LeBron 16 / Lewis 22 / Haslem 10
Bosh 34 / Haslem 14

In the end that's 36 minutes for LeBron, 34 for Chris, 28 for Shane, 24 for UD and 22 for Rashard... I only listed Shane at the 3 and Rashard at the 4 but anytime they're in the game with LeBron its pretty much interchangeable.

I do think our actual rotation will wind up including some minutes for a more traditional center (Anthony or Pittman) in order to not wear down Bosh too much, but in the playoffs this should be what we go with.

I am in favor of small ball line up, bosh at center lebron/battier pf during playoffs.but during regular season we can use anthony as starter, no need to wear down battier or lebron.

I said before that Lewis lost his shot, but f*ck it, bring him onboard.

Maybe Ray Ray can help him find it again :D

Alot of people lose their shot on bad teams, in horrible situations...aka Washington.

Agreed. Its easy to lose your shot when the defense has to play you so tight because youre the only threat on the team. Where as on the Heat hell get so many open looks as people double LeBron/Bosh/Wade.

Won't matter. He's getting over 13m already for this season. Money is NOT the question.

If we can get him, i would consider this a successful offseason even though we may not get Camby.

I'd love to get him. He's perfect for a small ball lineup

Wade
Ray
James
Lewis
Bosh

Good luck stopping that. Try to zone us up now, Doc!

The offense coming out of that lineup would be just stupid good. Every single player can hit the three or a midrange shot  Opening up the road to the basket  Lebron kickouts to any player on the team
