Very nice line up. I would be happy going to war next year with that team. Young, talented with a mix of veterans to keep Beasley off the pipe. Plus I really really want to see Dudley and Frye back on the bench. With your line-up, if Marshall comes out strong we could have one of the better benches in the league.

Yep GH, that was what I was thinking last year about adding Lighty. I like adding Lou, but while we still have Chilldress, it becomes a bit redundant. I still would like to see Beasley at the four.

I just don't want to give up much to get Gordon. I like the idea of adding a twenty point scorer, and understand the costs, but with all the injuries, I would rather search elsewhere, while retaining our assets. TWill sounds interesting. We could add BRush and TWill for about the same money we could pay for Gordon, and for less years.

The only good thing is that our FO is actually doing something this offseason.

I just hope Brandon Rush is still available on July 14th when NO matches. If would be nice that if they were definitely going to match, that they would do it immediately, but I'm sure they will make us wait.

Even with what Gordon is saying, I still think NO signs him no matter what I try to work it out with him going forward. If he progresses with the pre-modonna attitude, then they will trade him. This will suck, but I honestly dont think we go past the 1st rd with this team. I rather take a chance on a top 5 pick next year and after that to build our team.

The other point I wanted to make is that the suns have said that they will play Dragic and Marshall together on the floor. Both are 6'4" and can run the floor at the same time.

+1 That's what I have at the moment. I want Kendall Marshall to be the starter though with Goran Dragic as backup. By the way has anyone seen those highlights on Marshall there pretty sick passes? Even though he's a rookie I think he'll benefit from Nash leaving. He has a opportunity to be a leader for a long time it's in his hands now. Or should we just let Goran Dragic be the guy?

Goran has to be the guy right now but that doesn't mean if his play suffers Marshall can't take over as a starter. It all depends on who plays better.

no chance kendall will start over goran, you don´t pay a new guy 10 mil and place him on the bench..
i´d like to see both on the court for some time, see how they work together, like kidd and kj back in the days..

Felton/Marshall/Dragic
Gordon/Redd
Beasley/Dudley
Markieff/Frye
Gortat/Lopez

The suns are to visit with Raymond Felton according to sources. So if we were to get him this is what it would look like.

Did you list the Pgs. in order of heaviest to lightest, because you have felton as a starter and dragic at 3rd string accidently!!! :wavefinger:

This is false. We were visiting with Felton before we signed Dragic. He was our backup.
Marshall WILL NOT start over Dragic. I don't know what you been smoking. You may have seen a few highlights of Marshall's passing, but there is a video in the Welcome Back Dragic thread showing what Dragic did as a starter. Marshall can pass. Dragic can shoot, drive, pass, defend. Even if we signed Felton it would be Dragic/Marshall/Felton not the opposite. Felton is the definition of mediocre.

Who are we paying $10m a year? Goran is getting $7.5m a year plus All-Star bonuses...

I am not saying that Marshall will start over Dragic. What I was saying is that they will play together at times.
