Chalmers/Cole
Wade/Allen/Miller
James/Battier/Jones
Lewis/Haslem/Turiaf
Bosh/Anthony/Pittman/Curry

Looks good to me...keep in mind everyone inside the Heat was talking about Curry contributing some next season...he's comin back!

Pat said...you'll get as many open looks as you got in Orlando in half the time...and instead of hoping Dwight finds you...it'll be Lebron and Wade. Sound good? Great...I gotta go see a man about a center...lol

I am officially on the Shard Lewis bandwagon...looked at his stats...read up on his ped suspension...it was for dhea...it's a diuretic, not a steroid...I used to take it in high school...banned substance in nba not MLB so it gets a bad rap because of the "performance enhancing " tag.

I think he was just unmotivated in DC...do you blame him? But I think he can give us 10 and 3 the way he played the last two years...but I expect 12 and 5...I think he will be our best big not named Bosh...Haslem better get his midrange back.

Anyone got any info on the Lebron fiancé Rashard connection? Hopefully this means it's wrong or behind them.

The only thing with lewis is that his rebounding rate is just awful. Bosh almost has double the rebounding for most years and he's not even a great rebounder himself

Yes, he will. If he's going to play meaningful minutes, he's going to need to rebound. It's like saying we don't need him to play defense.

Well, he's not worse than Battier. So at the stretch 4 spot, that's not really a big change. He's not as good a defender, but when he's in form, he's a clearly superior offensive player, and can physically handle defending 4s for a full season. Those are all big pluses.

But yeah, any plan of Miami playing small ball is gonna require Bosh and Lebron to step up their rebounding.

If the Heat manage to sign Rashard, our bench will be looking really nice. Cole (with improvement), Allen, Lewis, Shane/Haslem (depending on who starts), Miller (good when healthy, especially rebounding). And then who knows what will happen with Camby.

According to Ethan Scolnick Lewis is STILL meeting with the heat as of 15 minutes ago. Take it for what its worth.

What happens to James Jones if we get Shard? Unless injury, I doubt he even gets play on blowouts :(.

JJ is an SF. Rashard would probably be our stretch PF if LeBron isn't playing PF.

But yeah... I really like JJ but I think if we aren't going to use him, we should gets something for him. He deserves to play somewhere.

I won't mind Rashard but would prefer Marcus Camby our backcourt is set and small ball will work but we will need A True Center to go up against the Dwights, Bynums and big man of the league.

PG - Rio and Chalmers is perfect
SG- D.Wade RAY ALLEN and Miller
SF - LeBron , Battier Jones
PF - Bosh , Haslem
C- MARCUS CAMBY , Joel Anthony and Pittman

THIS WOULD BE MY IDEAL OFFSEASON.
CHI BULLS
PG - Michael Carter - Williams , Jerian Grant
SG- DWYANE WADE , Denzel Valentine
SF- Jimmy Butler,Nikola Mirotic,Doug McDermott PF-Taj Gibson,Paul Zipzer
C -Robin Lopez, Cristiano Felicio,
MICHAEL BEASLEY FAN, 9 On Me Like Rondo AYE

Physically handle 4s for a full season??? This guy is a statue on defense. Not only that, but is 230 frame will get absolutely punished by physical fours.

I really dont know why you said that....

Shards only real asset to a team is shooting. However, the last 3 seasons, his shooting has gotten worse and his defense to point of non-existence.

Honestly, Shard is only worth the minimum at this point in his career.

Camby would be a much better signing than Shard, but you got to take what you can get.

Is Chalmer's confidence that big that he has multiple personalities? Rio and Chalmers? Is he backing himself up? LOL

Sorry couldn't resist...I cracked up when I read it. I'm sure you meant Rio and cole.
