11 players? OK I'll take a stab. Hedo, JRich, Howard, Lopez, KH, Brooks and 5 draft picks.

Cavs will need more than just Humphries from Brooklyn to give away those picks to Orlando. But Nets have to give their picks to Magic, too.
Wait, so we're getting picks from Cleveland too?
I like this team

Dwight now takes Shaq's title as the most hated????
Dwight will be 1,000 times worse than Shaq. He has single handily ruined this franchise fo many years to come with blatant disregard for us fans that he claims to love.
Definitely.

Even having Bynum not interested in staying in Orlando fits the smoke screen. I think we deal with LA by monday night/tuesday
I'd like to think you're right. But I think LA has no reason to be concerned. They're a Finals contender now with Bynum. If the Magic come knocking, they win. If the Magic don't, they still win. They're fine where they're at.
Totally disagree.
Nash still isn't Westbrook.
Kobe just ain't as good as Durant is now.
They need a defensive presence to cement their standing as a favorite.
If anything, they are a worse defensive team after signing Nash.
Sorry, I meant to say, that's what LA probably thinks. I think LA is approaching the situation like that. No doubt they'd love D12 instead of Bynum.

Just want to toss this log on the fire... when Bynum was linked to Orlando last season his camp loved the idea of trading places with Dwight
And there it is.
The media is going all out blitz to keep every NBA fan in every city glued to their computers today. This is nothing more than a "hits" drive by all the journalists. We drank the Kool-aid per usual.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
As @tribjazz reports, Raja Bell finalizing buyout w/ Jazz. Bell has interest in returning to his hometown to play for Heat, source tells Y!
Got to love the NBA
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Another possibility for Raja Bell: The Lakers. Kobe Bryant recruited Bell hard a year ago, and still fits as defensive-minded guard w/ Nash.

Joe johnson, Okafor and Nene all say hi. I am saying there is always a team looking for a center.
I didnt say I love the idea of getting Lopez, but he is a legit 7 footer with skill and is only 24 years old.

Cleveland has cap space to sign Hump outright and showed no interest in doing so. Nets need some serious sweeteners

I doubt Lopez gets a max deal. He will probably get 4 years, 40 million with a player option for the 3rd. That is 10 million a year. Brooks is making about 2 million a year and is on his rookie deal. If we take them back, while moving Hedo and JRich, we save 20 million in future cap space.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXXIII Off-Season Editi
why are people so angry? it's definitely not the best deal but it's something....we're not winning a championship next season with or without Dwight so watching him leave to another team in Free Agency accomplishes what exactly? either way we'll be on top on that Suntrust building so why not get a parachute out of it?

I just don't get what's in it for the Cavs to take a lot of bad contracts from us or even the Nets and give up draft picks?

Brook Lopez on a max contract isn't BAD - the guy led all centers in scoring one year and was top 3 another. But rebuilding with Brook Lopez as your center piece on a max contract..just isnt a place I want to be

F!!!! Bynum and the Lakers. That wouldn't be the best trade in my opinion. Yes Brook isn't the greatest center but as long as he comes with draft picks and a salary dump, I'm in. Time to rebuild...follow the OKC model and the dynasty will come.
Uhh... OKC didn't build their dynasty (that hasn't won a title yet) with a soft center and a bunch of draft picks in the mid to late twenties, so...
What exactly are you referring to?

Lol, shocker.
Christ.....every contender has gotten better except us. We have just fallen off.
Bulls got Kirk, Celtics got JT (who is an upgrade over Ray Allen at this point), Heat got Ray Allen, and so on......and we get Lopez. Lol, this has got to be a f****** sick joke.
The good news is, if it really is 11 players, then that certainly means we are moving more than just Dwight. Unless the Nets and Cavs are both trading around 5 players each.

Trade with the Nets and I'm done. Been supporting stupidity for way too long for it to start all over again.
