You guys HAVE to understand this....Henny has no choice in this. He is being forced to trade dwight to the nets...cuz we are getting low balled by everyone else..bynum not wanting to sign extention causes him to have to take nets deal...i think his hands are tighted in this matter...he has no choice

Our options are limited thanks to Dwight's greed, but we are not forced to make a deal with the Nets. I would rather trade for Bynum even without an extension (he'd get his dream of being a first option here - I think he'd re-sign), trade with houston for whatever package they can put together or even just keep Dwight and let him walk to any team not named Nets at the end of the season. Turning the Nets into a top 2 seed in the same conference for a long time is not an option for me...

If it is 11 players, I'm guessing they also mean draft picks. We get 5 draft picks, Lopez and Brooks for Howard (Nets), Hedo, KH and JRich to a 3rd team.

I'm on the brink with you there.

But I know it's just irrational anger right now. I hope Hennigan can show me a light at the end of this tunnel.

Can't lie, I'm right there, too.

I sick of these stupid moves.

This deal had better have more than meets the eye, or a plan down the road.......or something.

Because I honestly feel like I'd rather just take the risk on Bynum, and if he shows inclination on leaving, trade him at the deadline, or even let him expire.

Because the alternative, just letting D12 walk, would be better than locking Lopez up to a near max deal for the next 4 years. It's like the Magic are making a deal just for the sake of making one.

On the bright side, if we do make this deal and get rid of all those bad deals and only actual player we get this year is brook lopez, we are almost a LOCK for a 25 win season and #1 pick in the draft! (we all know stern loves to reward teams that lose superstars with that #1 pick)

Rob Hennigan's plan to ante up the offer from other teams working?

Seriously, all you have to do to make people take you seriously on twitter is just add NBA to your name. Your BS will get spread across forums in a heartbeat.

I'm not taking every little tweet or rumor, good or bad, until something with some substance pops up.

SO wait...

Rob used the Nets and Lakers against each other while secretly talking to other teams for cap relief and picks. 8-)

Backing off the fire Rob bandwagon.

MagicMan89 wrote:Even if Dwight changed his mind and wanted to sign, we are not title contenders. It is not a fluke that we had 2 first round exits in a row. This team was moving backwards and even quick fixes would likely leave us in the middle of the pack. Miami, Boston, Chicago, LA, SA and OKC have settled as the top tier of teams. Even if we cleared the deck and got Ellis or Smith, im not sure we would beat these teams in a 7 game series.

I would argue the second time actually was a bit of a fluke. Who expected Dwight to miss the last quarter of the season with an injury? If he stayed healthy we were looking like one of the top five teams in the league last year.

Quick! Does anybody know if this guy has any credibility?

I swear in the last week or so, a dozen journalists I have never heard of have popped up out of nowhere......

I call bs on any Nets deal. The Dwight Camp and the media are trying to wear down Magic fans. It's not working. Houston or "Roll the Dice".
