People listening to sources saying Dwight Howard is close to being a Net should be reminded that Dwight doesn't get how all this works.

Twitter silence, everyone just realized they'd been duped by Henny and are scrambling for more sources.

joe johnson is not a winner..deron is not a winner..and dwight hasn't been a winner. put 3 losers together and what do you get?

You get a team that blows out the Magic for the next 5 years.

You could have said the same about Lebron, Bosh and Wade (yes Wade had a title but we all know it was given to him by the league. Probably the worst officiated series in NBA history).

Of course every one knows my opinion on Williams. He is overrated and with Howard on the Nets roster they would have 3 players making 20+ million a year. A recipe for disaster if you ask me.

This Ayon trade seems like a move in preparation for Brook's lack of hustle. :|

20 plus year Magic fan here. If Dwight is traded to the Nets I will no longer be a fan. I'm so tired of crybabies getting what they want by stomping their feet and holding their breath. I don't care if it's the best deal or not. You do not reward him.

No cap relief? Pass, especially if Kobe won't commit to an extension.

So to recap today's events.
-Magic S&T Ryan Anderson to Hornets for a TPE and some unknown second string center with a nickname Goose.
-Magic fans start Fire Rob Henny chants
-Magic fans calm down when realizing Anderson is getting 9 million a year and Goose might be a decent backup.
-Hours after asking if he looks good in Blue. Andrew Bynum reports he won't resign with Magic and instead prefers to sign with the Cleveland Cavilers as a free agent.
-Berger and Wojo report worse possible trade ever. Dwight Howard for Brook Lopez and a couple late first round picks with Cavs taking Humphries for a Magic Lotto pick.
-Magic fans begin loading pistols with one bullet or choosing the option of burning self alive.
-Rudolph reports deal almost done.
-Magic fans start crying and jumping off bridges
-Reports that Henny has screwed the Nets, dwight and Fegan yet again and is preparing to trade Dwight to Houston.
-Magic fans rejoice only to Rev (not Ty) up again tomorrow for another exciting day of false rumors for website hits.

I've been a fan starting when the expansion draft took place. Real fans don't bail just because things aren't going well. This offseason has the potential to be one of the most impactful in Magic history, and we finally have a GM that can actually create and execute a plan. No reason to bail now.

It's really not that different from the year before the heart and hustle team. I mean, our leading scorer was Ron Mercer if I recall correctly. Getting Brook Lopez seems like an absolute coup compared to that clown.

and mots of those guys (the big three) were top 5 picks. The Nets deal ain't giving the Magic that.

by all means, destroy your franchise, lose an asset for nothing, so that you can prove a point. right on

Woohoot 88 pages in this thread. When we get to Speculation Thread part 34, I take it as a sign we are trading for Andrew Bynum.
