I'll wait for Woj to confirm this. Seems like the Magic are stalling & waiting for LA to make it more enticing.

I don't see any correlation.. not like the Nets are gonna make it to the finals.

Looks like it's almost over. Have a feeling the Lakers will make one final push. You'll never know.

You don't think the Nets can make it to the finals with a starting line up of

D-Will
JJ
Wallace
?
Howard

Looks like a championship caliber team to me.

I think that is what the Magics are hoping from the Lakers.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets snag Howard out of no where. I just can't envision Orlando trading him to the Nets to be locked in a max or close to max contract of Lopez

The Rockets would probably take Hedo's contract back and not have the Magic take any bad contracts bad in return...in other words, i notice the Rockets were looking and seeking players with expiring deals or non-guaranteed contracts ...most likely to send as package to the Magic, so Orlando doesn't get stuck with bad long term contracts...just my observation
]
What do you think the trade could look like and a roster Houston could put together?

Not sure to be honest. Hard to say cuz they're still shopping Scola and possibly Martin....i think they just want picks or expiring contracts even if it was a garbage player...all those expiring deals would be easier to convince the Magic to make the deal especially getting rid of Hedo or JRich off their books. However, i think time is against the Rockets unless the Magic are patiently going to look at all offers before deciding. I believe they have 5-6 players with expiring/non guaranteed contracts already.

I think Bynum was the final straw. Once Bynum made it clear that he didn't want to sign with the Magic all the LA-Orlando talks seemed to stall.

He would have had no choice but to stay anyways. I don't care about Howard and his feelings at all, I just know that he was the best chance to win another 'ship.
