Shved is a Russian SG who reportedly has interest from several NBA teams, including Minnesota.

Not sure if Hill, Tolliver, and Steimsma is enough. It is as long as Love or Pek don't get hurt. I might prefer to bring over our Euro-stash Nmanja Bjelica as a backup PF/SF to replace either Hill or Tolliver. He might be on the summer league roster, too.

Also, I believe you also forgot Budinger with your lineup earlier.

Agree on Bjelica. I'd like to have him chill in the NBDL for a year and just destroy fools till we can open up some time for him, maybe as a replacement for Budinger if he gets too expensive next year.

Speaking of Europe, Shved is gonna be a immediate impact kind of guy and very well may produce more than Brandon Roy this year. It would also be more of a long term move to go after Shved so hopefully we can snag him.

Is Batum really suited to play SG? I really think that his natural position is SF so as nice as it'd be to keep DWill and have them both. Reality may be that Batum comes to MN and DWill is a goner.

Ideal and realistic roster I'd like is:

Amnesty Darko
Sign Shved, Batum.
Trade DWill, Wesley Johnson, Webster and Barea for Gasol. Maybe in a three-way with Orlando for Dwight?

Rubio/Ridnour/Shved
Roy/Shved/Lee
Batum/Budinger/Bjelica (NBDL)
Love/Gasol
Gasol/Pek

That's a contender in my opinion. With the production of Roy+Shved being the thing that pushes us to that next level.

i believe Jordan Hill, AT & Stiemsma is definitely enough for back up bigs.
