Camby + Lucas For Joel + Cole + Pick.

I'm taking that deal all day. Which is basically what could be done.

Whoever backs up Chalmers this year will see alot less minutes.

Lucas isn't a bad player, at least he wasn't last year. The guy came off the bench for 15 minutes a game and put up 7.5 points and 2.2 assists with a PER of 16 and shot 40% from 3. I don't know what kind of defensive player he is but it wouldn't be a bad signing for the minimum as an insurance option in case Chalmers or Cole goes down. It isn't like the guy is going to see major action anyway.

At the very least if Cole gets dealt to HOU for Camby he's a much better backup option than Derrick Fisher.

Yea looks like Riley wants to get Camby if it means trading Cole, with Nets + Orl making progress on the trade for Dwight Howard.

This dude talks so much trash on his twitter about us, **** him. Why are we interested in him? We better not be giving up Cole for Camby.

Come on Riley, I know we possibly need a Center but giving up 2 players and a pick is just a bad deal. Especially since he's friggin 38.

We should just sign Lewis for vet min and that's it.

Why the **** are we interested in people like Fisher, bibby and not this clown? Screw veteran PG's. They don't even play like a PG anyway, why the bother. Only real vet PG out there is Andre Miller and Steve Nash. Everyone else is spot up shooters.

shoulda just drafted Moultrie or gone after Thabeet. No thanks on Lucas. If Camby doesnt want to come here for min then pass. He is considering the Knicks? U ahve got to be kidding me. Im tired of players using Heat as leverage. I am still not convinced we will effectively use a center so not sweating trying too hard to get Camby. Id rather go with the draft pick we got than make this trade.

Lucas III. If Riley thinks he fills a role okay. He's not going to play much anyway, surprised there's not better trash out there but who cares?

I agree with this.

I have more faith in Riley then a bunch of forum posters who are against this because of hurt feelings.
Plus like someone said, this might mean we're interested in trading Cole+whatever for Camby.
