I actually am looking forward to the season for the first time since 2007. I don't think this is a lottery team anymore (a high one atleast).

Like the beloved Skins, I don't get excited about the start of the Wizards season. The lineup that Emperor Ernie has amassed is just good enough to avoid lottery, while good enough to keep the lemmings happy about a possible 'playoff run' (and 1st round shellacking by the #1 seed in the East).
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

You really do have to wonder what's left in Ted's wallet.

The Caps, even with $20m in cap room appear to be ready to let Sasha Semin walk and to take a pass on good replacement top 2 line wings.

Parise would be GREAT in DC, but Ted ain't spending.

I am having serious doubts whether this organization wants to win

no effort to acquire Dwight Howard
trading for mediocre players instead of signing better free agents with the same cap space by portraying losers mentality and saying nobody wants to come
Not trading any of their glut of mediocre forwards
wasting a 2nd round pick

with the exception of beal, its been an awful offseason and frankly...i dont think Ted really cares. He turned New Orleans franchise around and he is allowing NJ to build a superteam while he has essentially shutoff any further movement Washington can make

Hilarious, yet-sad, Ernie and Ted loved to get abused in trades.
