How is Team Bron adapting to life in MIA?

Post#1 » by DanDanE420 » Sun Jul 8, 2012 9:57 pm

Anybody have any insight into how Team LeBron (friends, family, Savannah, Brice, Bronnie, Gloria) is adapting to life in Miami? The stronger their roots grow down here, the easier it will be to keep him past 2014.

If we keep winning, I don't think it will be a question that he stays the rest of his career.

The whole point was to win multiple championships. Keep winning, and he'll stay for sure.

Well the player option is not till the 2015-2016 season I believe, which is still a long way to go.

Safe to say Wade and Bosh will pick up their option when that day comes. Lebron.... I hope he picks it up but I think by then he can get even more money so we might have to give him an extension. That contract might be like Kobe's current contract. Lebron is the 4th richest athlete in the world at 53 million annual income, hope he goes easy on us but it's business.

Heck! If it comes down to it and by that time we have another title at least, I don't mind extending all three of them and allowing them to possibly retiring with us.

As long as we keep winning, I don't see any of them leaving. DWade will retire a Heat player. Bosh too. I don't see LeBron leaving us for any team not named the Cleveland Cavaliers, which I think is highly unlikely as long as Dan Gilbert is the owner. So, I think LeBron retires a member of the Heat.

I'm kind of hoping that they sign cap friendly contracts though after their contracts are up :)

All 3 can opt out after 2013-14 season. Let's hope they opt out and we sign them to longer deals

Not sure why people seem to think that. Besides the obvious damage done from both sides.. Who knows what the Cavs cap situation will be in 2014.. They will be at the point they have to extend a bunch of their young guys, incluindg Irving

I dunno, I feel like bosh is the one who might leave if one was going.
Lebron will have the rings as the man,and will hope to retire a heat player.
wade will never leave.
I think bosh after many rings might start looking for the challenge to win a ring as being the man.

Nah, I think he stays here. If he never wins one after leaving, people will always just say he coat-tailed or blah blah blah. At this point, for all three of them, there's really no reason to leave. They're building a potential Dynasty here that could go down as one of the best of all ages. Why leave that to try to win one on your own, older, and with the humiliation and frustration of being singled out as being not good enough/lucky, etc.

If we can win another couple of championships I don't mind either way.

If he stays great, if he leaves we make sure we get a good trade out of it to build for the next 3 championships against him.

He wouldn't be here if his friends(Maverick Carter & co.) didn't tell him it was okay. I'm guessing they love it here.

I doubt it. The only one he most likely listens to is his fiancee and to a certain degree his mom. That's why I don't give a f*** how "Team Bron" is adapting to life in Miami. With that being said, I hope he stays with us for the rest of his career, but if he decides to leave after we won some titles and Wade has retired, I won't be mad. Until the day LeBron becomes a free-agent though, I'm not gonna worry about him leaving and just enjoy winning.

Let's pray that Lebron is a Heater for the rest of his career.

One thing about Arison's and Riley - Once you are inducted in to the family, you usually stay in the family.

Can you guys name one disgruntled player other than Shaq (Mr Ego) that bad-mouthed the organization or Riley?

My money is on Lebron staying. As we have all noticed, Lebron is an emotional guy that needs to be coddled and made to feel special / great. I think Riley and Arison understand the psychology behind Lebron and this will work to our favor.

Bump. Anybody know how Bron's circle (and himself) are enjoying MIA life? The more entrenched they get the better shot we have in 2014.

Didn't Wade say last season as long as he's playing, there's no chance Bron leaving? These damn speculations started last season. It's all a ploy from the media.

I agree man, it's just to get the other 29 Fanbases excited about the Heat breaking up. As Heat fans, we should trust Arison, Riley, and the players to come together and work out a deal where they can keep the team while still giving them flexibility to stay competitive.
