that's not a playoff team yet so we go to the lottery once again and package those 1st round picks we got in the dwight trade to move up in the draft and get SF jabari parker to pair with muhammad and lopez. by the 2014-2015 season we're looking like the OKC thunder a few years ago with an over paid center (but if he's healthy can still put up 15-20ppg) - that's not so bad right?
Yes its bad. I do not want a center who can't rebound and defend in the ONE position you NEED rebounding and defense. Just remember, Bill Russell.

Now that actual parameters in place, waiting begins. For Hennigan, is cap relief, 3 late 1sts, Lopez & 3 fringe talents enough? Had heard no

Henny ain't stupid.
Gonna keep harping the same point...
HE'S ADVERTISING TO OTHER TEAMS WHAT THEY HAVE TO BEAT TO GET THE BEST CENTER OF THE PAST DECADE.

Most likely I'll still stick with the new guys, or I'll pass on following the NBA all together. Even though Brook Lopez isn't as horrible as people make him out to be.. But if I have to watch this stiff white guy for 82 games... Horrible!

lol, sounds like "cleveland will win a championship before Lebron does." Dan Gilbert, is that you?
Bill Simmons @sportsguy33
Refuse to believe 4-team Howard trade rumor since it involves the words "Brook Lopez" and "max deal." No team could possibly be that dumb.

Trying (hard) to look at the bright side, we'd be getting a ton of cap relief in this deal. J-Rich, Duhon, and Q all gone. We'd be players in 2013 free agency. Possibly an all-star player, in addition to a "pretty good" Brook Lopez and 3 first rounders. I don't think I'd call it one of the worst trades ever. It has all the ingredients of a disgruntled star dump. I think it just hurts worse because of the emotional factor of Dwight screwing us and getting his Brooklyn wish.
