Arguably we would be worse than that because we don't have anyone nearly as good as Deron

Shabazz Muhammad here we come!!!

Lopez played 5 games.

But if they plan on trotting out a starting lineup of Nelson-Redick-Turkoglu-Davis-Lopez. With 50M in salary commited next offseason and nothing to look forward to other than a probable late lottery pick? Forget it.

That team is probably bottom 5 in the league. That's the worst defensive starting lineup I've ever seen topping Calderon-Derozan-Turkoglu-Bosh-Bargnani in 2009-2010. With a bunch of OK offensive players who play best off a star that they don't have.

I wouldn't worry if I were you guys about whether the Magic will suck/tank next year. You will.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Someone said they would think rooting for a 20 win team is fun.

LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL

People must be delusional.

How can watching a team that has the worst record in the league losing just about every game EVER entertaining. Who would show up to their games? Who would sponsor them?

so, once this trade goes down, what do we do? we still have a need for a scoring wing:

nelson
redick/liggins
turkoglu/harper/james/walton
davis/nicholson/ayon/williams
lopez/oquinn

we still have too many 3s and 4s, id assume we would try to do something like davis and harper to a team with capspace who needs a 4, for a wing with potential

Why are guys you giving Rob grief?

-Lakers have already said they're not trading without a commitment
-Bynum said he doesn't want to stay here
-Houstons "deal" (if it exists) isn't any better than Brooklyns. (Lopez>>Martin)

He's doing exactly what he learned from Presti, always go for Picks and Young Players... There's no way to make you guys happy unless we litterly trade for Lebron, Re-instate Stan AND make Miami take back Hedo.

Lopez should get Bargnani money if we want a chance to swing him later on for a better picks.

listen, if this trade goes down... we're tanking... plain and simple

we're all still Magic fans... we've been through losing seasons before... we still watch all the games, no matter what

that's what fans do... Rob is obviously going to rebuild through the draft... i'm ready for whatever happens... we've been through worse in the past.

Ok, you can cheer for Luke Walton then.

Do you enjoy rooting for a team that continually makes mistake after mistake after mistake?

Are you going to be happy for your team if they give away the most dominate Center to whatever team he chooses for practically nothing while keeping and taking on crappy contracts/players?

Eventually, enough is enough. I been here 25 years and on this board for 9. I was there for Shaqs and Dwights first game. I spent my money on this team. I have been through thick and thin. Well, the damn has burst if they do something this stupid.

Now, it may fall through, but if they do something this stupid, that is the last straw.

I may be a "sophmore" on this board but I have followed the Magic from the beginning. It kills me to continually see stars leave the team.

I am frustrated with it all. I have the same frustrations as you, but I am not going to stop cheering for the team I have been cheering for since I was a kid because I am pissed off. This is my team through the good times and the bad.

I don't mind people getting upset about certain things but things haven't even played out and people are jumping ship. To me that is just as bad as all the new Heat "fans". Its pathetic and weak.

Brian K. Schmitz ‏@MagicInsider
If Hennigan pulls trigger on this deal, he is the Nets' nominee for Executive of the Year.

C'mon, he and the team have to be hearing all the disdain coming from all corners about this deal. No matter how they felt at one point that this was the best they could do (and I doubt even that), right now his best risk reduction move is to just wait - no one will kill him or the team for that if this is the only trade out there at the moment.

The hiring of Henny came out of nowhere which means he HAD to have some kind of vision he sold the owners and Martins on - I can't imagine this was it.

Just wait, Henny, just wait.....

Houston's deal comes with far better young talent, possible lottery pick, and Martin is expiring (if it exists).

basically what i'm saying.....everybody is going to be upset no matter what we do....If we trade Dwight for Bynum people are going to be upset....if we trade him to the Nets people are going to be upset....if we keep Dwight and let him walk people are going to be upset....if we trade him to Houston people are going to be upset....no happy ending here...
