So a girl took a pic of Bynum at the airport

Then some Lakers blogs took it and started tweeting that he's on a plane to Orlando, and Twitter being Twitter, it has taken off. Search "Bynum Orlando"

She tweeted that she "checked" and he's not on a plane to Orlando, just vacation.

Would that vacation happen to be at... Disney World?

That's a decent deal in my eyes as long as Hedo plays off the bench this season. Getting rid of Q, Jason, and Duhon is massive while shedding all that salary in a year's time and adding draft picks. Can't do much more, IMO. Dwight has put us in an improbable situation.

The NBA right now is a players league. Sending Dwight home all year to punish him sounds fun, until we no longer get visits from top free agents and draft picks wont work out for us. Our front office has to build a relationship with the agents and execute a plan of drafting smart.

Magic now need to step back, look at Nets deal and realize they are trading a Hall of Fame center. And re-open bidding.

We can go into the season with Bynum and add bench players and compete for a title. Magic can trade for Bynum or take whatever the Nets are offering. The only thing thats going on right now is the Magic is trying to make us take Hedo or Richardson and we don't have to cause we're really o.k with just keeping Drew

The fact that Brooklyn is taking J.Brick, Duhon & Q.Rich is enough of a deal breaker for me between them and Houston.

Duhon is not a part of the current deal that is being proposed/rumored.

Q-Rich's contract isn't even bad enough to try and get off of the books. It's a nothing deal. I mean it's bad because he doesn't contribute at all, but it doesn't eat up enough cap space to get excited about getting rid of it. Nor is it long enough to get excited about ridding of. He's a throw in to make the numbers work. That's all.

J-Rich is the only worthwhile deal we would be parting with, and we would be trading it in for Lopez...which will actually give us less cap space for 2014.

What does everyone want? To Keep J-Rich and pay him about 6 mil per year for 3 more years, or take Lopez and pay max or close to max money for at least 4 years plus throw in a few late first rounders? Yeah, I'll take the J-Rich Option for $1000, Alex.

If we rebuild we still have to spend 90% of the cap. Tanking and drafting smart seems to be the plan and those are cheap contracts so money needs to be spent somewhere. Lopez on his 4 year deal has far greater value than Q, JRich or any other player. Lopez had his first injury but had very nice numbers in his prior seasons and is only 24 years old.

Yes, we do need to spend 90 percent of the cap. But there are a ton of mediocre players out there who would take one year deals to get a roster spot. If we're really looking to tank, we sit Dwight and not trade him at all if this the best we can get. We don't have 4 years of Lopez that way, and we can just sign guys to deals with fewer years on them to get ourselves to the 90 percent level.

This deal equals long rebuild. If you're looking to tank, the Marbury way is better for us than this crap pile deal.

Very well said

Howard will come off as the bad guy here. He held the franchise hostage and limited their dealings. Rob is doing the best he can with what he's been dealt with (from Otis and Howard).

But if they plan on trotting out a starting lineup of Nelson-Redick-Turkoglu-Davis-Lopez. With 50M in salary commited next offseason and nothing to look forward to other than a probable late lottery pick? Forget it.

Exactly

Great.
Then get league pass.

Enjoy.

Maybe we can buyout Turk, mins should go to rookies and we will not be Free Agent players next year if we go into full rebuild.

What numbers are we looking at for the s&t for those 3 nets (Williams, James and Johnson)?

I agree. I've been thinking all along that most of the agents and players are watching the way Orlando is handling this and if they don't trade Dwight, it'll ruin our reputation with the agents and players.

They should make a reality show called "The Sources"

That way we will witness a group of individuals that claims to get sources from people. They will be expressing their emotions as they read on or hear about the rumors that are going on within their field of expertise, and yes we will feel their emotions as they find out that very moment that a rumor is giving out.. WOULDN'T THAT BE SOMETHING!! HUHHHH YEAA???

Great, Dwight Howard's Agent is already a few step ahead of us in this reality show, and everyone seem to be part in it.

^^Guys please, rumors are just that rumors. Sources are just that sources. Nothing is set stone until it is said and done.
