HOW ironic this is...

A Trade with Houston Rockets that we have traded before with our past Superstar in Tmac is now our only hope!?!? HAHA I would never thought that day would come.

We already have Brook Lopez' production on the roster in Glen Davis, and then some.

Glen Davis is better at the center position than Brook Lopez. And the more I think about it, the more I think there's a bigger gap between the two than I originally thought.

Are we even paying Davis half of what we'd have to pay Lopez? Davis at least tries to battle on defense, and rebounds so much better.

I'll take the starting version of Glen Davis as our center over Brook Lopez...ANY-FRICKING-DAY. We can let Davis shoot under 50 percent from the field, while grabbing more boards in the low post and save the $14 million.

God, this possible deal just looks worse and worse to me by the moment. I'm actually trying hard to find something like about it, I really am. But all I uncover are more things to hate about it. Like my latest realization that we can get better than Lopez' production from Glen Davis.

Normally I don't worry about such things until they've actually happened, but this deal is just so horrifying I can't help by worry about the future of the only pro sports franchise in the city I've lived in my entire life.

I don't know anyone can defend this deal is it goes down. Completely indefenisble from all angles.

Thankful, it's tough defending Brook Lopez in here.

Doesn't HOU have that lottery pick from Toronto? That alone is worth more than Lopez on a max deal...

Steve Kyler ‏@stevekylerNBA
The general consensus around the team -- is just get it over with... not a lot of fans of holding out for more.

Someone please tweet Kyler and tell him he's 100% wrong. We don't want any part of Lopez or the Nets deal.

Just cater to my Gator and toss in Parsons, and I'll be happy.

I'd change Royce White for Jones I think, just because I think White will be able to handle the 3 better than Jones and the 3 is where we need to improve. White has shown the offense can be run through him. Aside from that, this is the trade I would like over all that have been mentioned.

Just a question for those who know the Houston Rockets trade scenario...

Would the rockets take back any of our contracts? Or would it just be Dwight for their players and picks?

As for Houston, I LOVE YOU, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BAIL ON US

Just take a look at the lists being created in this thread.
He's not even a top 10 center.
He's coming off a major injury.
And his best stat season came on a team some consider one of the 10 worst teams OF ALL TIME.

just curious, cos i know you're a Bynum fan, so would you prefer to:

a) trade for Bynum without the extension and take the chance of signing him next summer?
b) keep Dwight without an exgtension and take the chance of signing him next summer?
c) other

A or B over the Nets deal.
A - having the caveat that there is zero chance Bynum walks away from the extra money the Magic can give him.
B - with the caveat that the Magic have until the trade deadline to deal Dwight OR can do a S&T next offseason when we actually have a better grasp of where teams are picking, how good the draft is, and how good our own young players are so we can accurately fill out the rest of the roster.

Lamb/White/Jones/Toronto's 1st round next year for Dwight.

And to have the contracts match, throw in Martin or something.
