His last year was much better than any previous year he's ever had by far.

He added the three-point shot (39%) on 140 shots which is important for our team.

He got better as a point guard, scorer (7.5 points in less than 15 mpg), shooter, rebounder and defender.

Players can get better. We're literally hoping for Cole to improve in those exact same areas that Lucas just did.

Okafor makes too much money for us to match salaries.

You would have to throw in Miller's contract to match salaries but that kills all the value of Cole + philly pick.

Finding a decent Center who is cheap that a team wants to get rid of is going to be hard. And if its a decent center that is cheap they could get a lot more from him than what we can offer.

Chicago Bulls free-agent guard John Lucas III, who has been contacted by the Miami Heat and others, said Monday the Bulls' decision to bring back Kirk Hinrich has forced him to evaluate his future in Chicago.

"(Miami is) one of the teams that's interested in me," Lucas said on "The Carmen, Jurko & Harry Show" on ESPN 1000. "I'm just taking time looking at everything and what's going to be the best situation for me.

"With everything that's going on now and I've heard they re-signed Kirk, which is a good move for them, so it kind of puts a little bit ... I'll sit down with my team and see what happens on that end," Lucas said. "(Miami) is a team that's reaching out to contact me, showing interest. It's coming from management. It's something going back and forth with my agent and other teams, too. They're not the only team. We have a couple other teams, too. -(my guess, Atlanta & Orlando)

"It's just basically talking and seeing what would be the best fit."

Lucas said Bulls fans are giving him a hard time on Twitter now that he may sign with the Heat.
