Last word was we've interviewed both Shaw and Malone.

Have any other names been speculated?

The name I heard on the radio this morning was that Mike Budenholzer was interviewed yesterday.

That came from Shot Doctor but take that with a grain of salt just like anything from Kyler or BSPN

Mike and Mike this morning, Mike Smith is telling Bucher how trashy this trade is for Orlando. Good to see a talking head actually acknowledge how bad it is and question why would Orlando do it.

I heard Nate McMillan as well, but nothing solid there other than mentioned in passing.

It's about time, Mike Smith from what I've seen isn't bias. Good to hear.

"Biased" is an adjective, and "bias" is a noun.

Somebody is biased, and somebody has a bias.

"Dominate" is a verb, and "dominant" is an adjective.

Somebody is a dominant player, and somebody can dominate the game.

"You're" means "you are", and "your" is a possessive adjective.

You're going to the store to buy your milk.

That is all for now. Thank you for YOUR time. :)

The Nets deal is a joke and everyone who's not a Nets homer knows it. I don't see Devos being satisfied with a half full arena for the next three years. It could be that Hennigan sold him on the plan of staying competitive and clearing space and adding pieces at the same time. Maybe that's why he got the job. I think our real focus is on Bynum and we want LAL to sweeten the deal so we can free up space and add pieces to stay competitive.

The big thing that came out of that Bucher interview a half hour ago is that he is backtracking on this Magic-Nets deal happening (Thank God). Ric was saying how he was 70-80% confident this would get done based on all the constant updates about trade pieces, etc.
Now he says it's around 60% this gets done. Says the big hold up is Humphries potential new contract. Mentioned, Clippers and Bobcats as that 4th team (No Wolves). Percentages are bull in my eyes, the fact he's backtracking means the Magic are getting other offers.

Michael Smith did a good job calling Bucher out on that extension 'issue' as far as a Bynum-Dwight deal occurring, and that the Lakers should gamble on making a title run with Dwight for one year. Bucher agreed with him, but said anything with Lakers is dead in the water.

NO ONE mentioned a possible Rockets deal.

Also, no one mentioned the fact that the Nets as currently built can't possibly sign Dwight as a free agent unless it's for $5 million.

Straight from the horse's mouth. They talked about teaming up way back when (I'm sure not in Utah....which is prob why Deron tried to force his way out of Utah and succeeded)...and Howard obv didn't have the leadership to bring him down here, so like the pawn he is, he got led to wanting to jump ship and go to Brooklyn.

Also, Bucher mentioned the July 12th 'deadline' before all hell breaks loose with signings. Says we may have to wait until October 12th for some players' new contracts to be tradable before we can trade Dwight again. Interesting point.

Ah collusion among players. Seems to be the general way the NBA is headed. I am reluctantly OK with it. The CBA should have installed a franchise tag. Otherwise there is no reward for a player and a team staying loyal to each other.

Stern IMO shares part of the blame for this.

I'm sure Jordan, Magic, Bird, Thomas, etc are all rolling their eyes at those comments. The so called "superstar" NBA player is no more because real superstar players want that competition, not to join them.

No wonder so many people are getting turned off by the NBA.

Oh and once again, hearing this, if I'm Rob, I don't even talk with the Nets any more since it sounds like Howard was planning this crap for the last 4 years. Ship him to a team that will rent him for multiple draft picks and start over.
