Very good interview, can appreciate Redick's honesty. Makes it known hes good for a revamp, not a reboot. Says if Dwight would just be honest people would appreciate it a little more. Specifically saying he lives in Manhattan during the summer due to the opportunities and being a young guy and people would understand if Dwight felt the same.

Says he wants to be with the Magic for the remainder of his career, but knows thats unrealistic, especially with the fact that he has an expiring contract.

Talks about his cleanse, blah blah blah.

Great interview, and glad Baumann has his own show. Guys gonna be good.

One of these is not like the others. I feel bad for him, almost. He chose to stay here, but now may be traded away.

Um, it's not like he accepted a crappy contract for 2 year 1st year team option.

Oh I agree ... I just have a renewed appreciation for people that actually WANT to be here.

That said, I said I almost feel bad for him. He's still in the NBA and with a chance to improve and get an even bigger contract later on.

ok just more of the same from Rudolph

Does he not know that this makes him look ridiculously bias? WTF? The Houston deal including, rooks, picks, and expirings isn't better than brook lopez and late first round picks.........

Hes going to look at people straight in the face while saying that......

"Biased" is an adjective, and "bias" is a noun.

Somebody is biased, and somebody has a bias.

"Dominate" is a verb, and "dominant" is an adjective.

Somebody is a dominant player, and somebody can dominate the game.

"You're" means "you are", and "your" is a possessive adjective.

You're going to the store to buy your milk.

That is all for now. Thank you for YOUR time. :)

Dude STFU already. Seriously. Jarrod is bias..now go sit and rotate on something.

Is there any concrete proof that Houston is offering something? Because I for one don't believe they are anywhere near this thing. It doesn't make sense for them to trade for Dwight one bit. They aren't a very good team so why would they give up potentially high picks for an obvious 1 yr rental. But if they are offering thats probably our best bet.

Agreed - People are acting as if there are 2 deals on the table and Rob is deciding which one to pick.

Houston is certainly up to something, with all their recent activity. But what guarantee is there that this is all to try to get D12?

what REALLY wouldn't suprise me if is a 3 way trade with the lakers and rockets might end up happening. EVERYONE would be happy. lol.

Houston Rockets Trade Breakdown

Incoming Players
Andrew Bynum
Metta World Peace
Hedo Turkoglu

Outgoing Players
Kevin Martin(Expiring)
Shaun Livingston(Expiring)
Patrick Patterson
Jeremy Lamb
Royce White
2 First Round Picks

Orlando Magic Trade Breakdown

Incoming Players
Steve Blake(1 year left)
Kevin Martin(Expiring)
Shaun Livingston(Expiring)
Patrick Patterson
Jeremy Lamb
Royce White
3 First Round Picks (including the toronto lotto pick)

Outgoing Players
Dwight Howard
Hedo Turkoglu
Jason Richardson

LA lakers Incoming
dwight howard
jason richardson

LA lakers outgoing
Andrew Bynum
Metta World Peace
Steve Blake
1 first round pick

this would work out for everyone involved. we still get the houston deal that gives us tons of promising rookies and lets us tank and we have 2 lotto picks next year. martin could probably be flipped to a contender at the dealine for a first or another young player. we get jrich and turk off our books and save a little. the lakers get dwight. and the rockets get a dominant big that they know will extend with them. this is good if bynum is iffy on extending with us. we don't take the risk on him walking or take the risk on his knees.

The only thing we know is that Houston is collecting picks and expirings which is what Henny has repeatedly said he is after. People are assuming, probably rightly, that they are trying to put together a package for Dwight.

Why would the Lakers be involved at all? all we are getting is picks and cap relief, Houston can do that on their own and get Dwight instead of Bynum.

because bynum will extend. they're taking a shot in the dark by getting dwight. he'll most likely walk.

Brooklyn can't sign him though. Do you see him leaving La/Kobe/Nash for Josh Smith?... Heck they can trade Pau for Smith if they really wanted.

It's only an assumption on my part. It makes sense to me because what is dwight going to do? Just sign with BK in the offseason? They have no money. With the nets putting themselves in cap hell other teams have a a better chance of convincing dwight to stay. Just my thoughts. I mean who else would it be for that's even remotely available?

i think dwight does end up resigning with whatever team we trade him to if its not the nets. i really don't think he'll leave the money on the table especially when his options would be pretty much a gutted dallas team and the hawks. thats why houston is going so hard after him. but still. this dude is so unpredictable you don't know whats going through his mind.

I still don't understand why they would give up potentially great picks for a 1 year rental. But, I would take that deal in a heartbeat no doubt.

There might be a chance Dwight could walk to Atlanta in the off season. He is from there and his two best friends (Smith and Morrow) play for the team, and they would have cap room. I have no idea if playing for Atlanta would appeal to him at all, but i wouldn't put it completely out of the question either.
