As in the Magic ain't gonna be that good next year - a serious underdog - and these two could be cogs in a "heart and hustle" campaign that surprises a few people.

I know the "tanking enthusiasts" don't want to hear that. But these were my two favorite players coming into the draft for that reason alone.

Moving soft bigs on max deals who can't rebound or defend like Lopez would be hard. But making a deal work by including bigs who are on friendly contracts that play with energy, rebound and defend well is quite easy in this league. Lots of teams are always looking for cheap bigs that play like Ayon or O'Quinn.

It's been said before, but you gotta give Rob props for picking Nicholson & O'Quinn. These guys have been impressive so far. I think they're both gonna be rotation players in the very near future.

I hope we're getting a lot of picks when we trade Dwight

That would be funny. Like he agreed to the deal in principle and then the next am his email box sent out auto-responders "out of office until 2018."

Yeah I think that guy's legit. He also had details of that rumored trade way before the big reporters did. He & Sam Amico were way ahead of the others ..
