Im glad we signed him. If we could get Grant Hill now, it would be great.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

This gives both sides a chance to see what Ebanks is worth, of course, all of this is assuming he's going to get more PT next season, on a consistent basis.

I doubt it if the Lakers can get Grant Hill. Then it will be Hill and MWP taking up most of the minutes. Ebanks is good just for insurance if someone gets injured which is fine by me.

Yea but if he's going to get less mins, chances are he gets stuck in the same place next summer, so why not just leave? Then again maybe no one offered him more than that qualifying offer, who knows. Hopefully we do get Grant Hill as it seems the Heat will be off his radar as they're about to ink Rashard Lewis for the vet's minimum. Just leaves us and the Thunder supposedly.

Ebanks doesn't have much value. He didn't have an Ariza-break-out like year that people were expecting.

I think this upcoming season may be his only realistic shot to increase his value otherwise why come back to play for the Lakers after this season if you're not gonna be seeing playing time?

I remember barnes' exit interview, something about him injuring himself while playing with his kids which was a reason why he shot so poorly. idk tho

Ebanks showed a nice mid-range J last season, along with some great athletics. He's a keeper, glad he's staying on board. I hope MB gives him a lot of PT to develop further.

Good to know, he is young and athletic. I'd like to see him take more of WPs minutes this coming season.
