HOOPSWORLD has learned that there’s been preliminary discussion between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets that would involve sending Andrew Bynum to the Rockets and Howard to the Lakers.

If Dwight Howard isn't traded to the Nets, the Cleveland Cavaliers could receive a rousing ovation when they play in Orl.

I concur

We would all write letters thanking Dan Gilbert using comic sans.

I'd rather you just trade Dwight to Cleveland for Varajao and some picks.

When Andre Drummond was asked if he was surprised with the physical play, he said "yes." O'Quinn asked the same question, "no."

Steal of the draft.

**** no to that proposed 3 team deal with the Lakers and Rockets. Why should we gift wrap Dwight to LA and Bynum to Houston while we get nothing?

If we're sending Dwight to LA, i'd prefer to get Bynum than the Rockets package. Still, either of those is better than sending Dwight to BK.

I'd rather cut HOU out of that deal and take Bynum.

Nevertheless, still better than the Nets offer, I presume.

Sixers Insider Dei Lynam reports that, according to a league source, the Sixers have acquired 6-foot-9 swingman Dorell Wright from Golden State for a future draft pick.

Sources confirm 76ers have traded for a starting (not in Philly, he won't) small small forward. Announcement tomorrow.

??

Turkoglu?

In fairness, he's not a "small small forward. " he's pretty darned tall for a small forward. Unless that wasn't what he meant.

So we don't want Bynum?
Why do we need LA to trade with Houston?

Most of the people here prefer the Rockets package over any other package ..

Not me, Bynum's the best deal we can get. 2nd best C in the league who's "major knee issues" were caused by 2 other players.

He needs to make more to be able to make it work in a trade. Lopez is BYC so his value would be half that for a trade. They need to match Dwight's Max salary.

Moreover, they've already established that his value is near Max.

So Lopez, if he comes, is coming as a near Max.

I'm not sure how I feel about that latest rumor. Houston getting Bynum instead? I guess we really wanted a rebuild if that is the case, and Howard wouldn't give the assurance to re-sign.

I'm sure we get something, but personally I'd rather have Bynum.
