They wont match, Bulls wanna cut salaries.

As for Asik, Asik could backup D12 and Scola, so it isn't a big deal.

Well, let me know now. My plans just changed. I could make it if needed.

I don't understand why Bynum prefers Houston than Orlando. I can see why Howard wants to go to the Nets, but what does Houston have to offer than we don't?

They will match Asik. They were looking to trade Noah on draft night to save money to sign Asik. So, yeah.

Totally on board with a Houston trade even if it sends Bynum to Houston and Dwight to the Lakers.

People don't forget, Houston has Toronto's 2013 1st round pick, which is going to be a solid lottery pick. It's top 4 or 5 protected, but so what? It's not going to end up being a pick that high anyway.

But a pick at the bottom of the top 10 in 2013 + cap space + a couple of Houston's 1st round picks from the 2012 draft? Sign me up.

So we have our own high pick, the Toronto pick, and lots of cap space on the horizon in a state with no state income tax? And we're a franchise that attracts prized free agents?

Yeah, sign me up big time.

Not really a fan of Houston's package. Their picks aren't high picks & their best young players are Lamb & some European C who's never played in the NBA. Not really blown away here ..

Bynum on the other hand is a 20/10 C. Will there be a C of that level available with Houson's picks? Doubt it. Quality Centers are hard to find. Bynum is one.

Guess everyone has other thoughts about this. The Houston package isn't bad, but I really prefer Bynum.

Lakers can't trade their 1st until 2017. They sent two for Nash.

well maybe explaining that if we do this trade we would be tanking this year and getting a top 5 pick likely. any trade with the rockets will give us a Player whos been compared to Dirk in my opinion as well as torontos pick(especially if its not lottery protected) meaning we could easily have 2 top 5 or at worst 2 top 10 picks to rebuild around. think something Like Mohammed and a Center like Zeller, Gobart, Austin, or noel.

I actually don't agree. If we send Dwight to Los Angeles, then I want Bynum. Otherwise, send Dwight to Houston and then let them trade Dwight straight up for Bynum later on if that's what they want.

The pick Houston just got from Toronto will be pretty nice.

+1
I agree. But it's not the Nets deal. So I approach it like that lol.

I'd much rather take Bynum over all options. But it's Rob's call. If he goes with either the HOU or LA package, I'll be satisfied.

yeah its a great way to start a rebuild. we clear out the trash. we get a top 6-10 pick from toronto, we most likely get a top 5 pick ourselves from our record. not to mention we get lottery talent rookies like jeremy lamb and royce white. we'll build just like the hornets are. thats the way you build a team. the team will be fun again and exciting to watch grow.
