HOU is giving up a bit too much here. Lamb AND a pick AND White? In addition to their two current best players?

Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to the L.A. Lakers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. the L.A. Lakers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

lay off the drugs man. This isn't NBA 2K where you can turn trade override on and allow the lakers to rape everybody

He's the guy who said Bynum could become a monster on the block just this summer with some teaching and time. He also advocated Bynum, Pau, And Odom all starting and finishing games when he hosted fan nights over Artest

Is that why he chose Al Jefferson instead of Bynum when he traded KG?

I think McRoberts expiring would go out in any deal, as would Blake's deal as he only has a year left IMO

No helping Boston was. That said Jefferson was more ready then. Bynum outgrew him and Mchale did admit on fan night he would have took Bynym and Odom looking back on it back when he and Ernie hosted it.

I think this is more likely with Houston also trading the Mavs first and Raptors first they have. They could add those 2nd rounders they got from NYK yesterday as well. Sessions in a S&T to Houston from LAL.

Max out Brook Lopez with a bad foot which ends big careers. Bad backs and knees are adaptable, bad feet equate to you being ****, especially the team who paid the max to Hill for years. Hell Martin could score as much as Brook and rebound even with him for less money lol.

McRoberts is another expiring and he has started in this league.

Plus Luke Wlaton was the second best player Orlando was getting int hat other deal and you know it, he'll he would have been the 6th man

Orlando could theoretically clear space for free agency next offseason and get picks with this deal as opposed to maxing out Andrew or Brook? Not sure who they could go after but they could be a player in free agency that much sooner

Speaking objectively, Orlando bends over hard over the Nets offer.

that trade is insultingly bad to orlando, lakers get dwight-don't take on any bad contracts, don't give up any picks but 2nd rounders, and get rid of blake?

am i reading this right?

The Nets wanted the Magic to be a treadmill team.

Hypothetically speaking if LA got Dwight and kept Ron, I think Artest benefits most from having Dwight behind him on D like he used to when JO was young before he broke down.

I don't know how Ron was thought of in Hosuton circles though so it is plausible he isn't in the deal because of the crazy factor

Nets trade is better.
