I understand that some of you love Bynum. But a deal that brings us Bynum doesn't bring us cap space.

I believe a total rebuild is necessary, and will take that over Bynum.

I think people think Bynum is better than he really is, because there are no good centers in the league. He's not even the 20/10 guy you're claiming that he is. He averaged a career high 18.7 ppg this season.

Did we forget that he has bad knees, or that he clotheslined a Barea? Or how about his general crappy attitude, or the fact that he's having issues with current head coach...to the point that he was benched because he was chucking up 3s when he can't even shoot 3s.

I'll take the cap space, the Toronto lottery pick, and our own high lottery pick over a guy who reminds me of the basketball version of Terrell Owens.

Uh...

I'm grabbing a drink.

Your GM wants picks, your GM is making it clear you're going to rebuild, Bynum DOES NOT want to re-sign with the Magic.

Beggars can't be choosers & that's being ungrateful if you two think that deal is anywhere near bad given the circumstances.

Hahahahaha.
Nice to know you were the only person in America invited to a one on one interview with Henny. Thanks for your insider info.

Now please, move along and go enjoy your 25 million dollar past his prime Shooting guard.

If it's a 20/10 center (i think Bynum is capable of more than 20/10) without injury issues i would agree, but Bynum is a major risk ala Grant Hill. Imagine if we re-sign him to a 5 years deal at MAX and he injuries in 1st season? We would have no picks, no young players and no capspace.

Why do people keep saying this? Did I miss something? How does "Bynum interested in Cleveland and Dallas if a free agent" morph into people saying "Bynum does not want to sign with the Magic"?

Let me guess, SOURCES

Again, there was ONE report of Bynum not wanting to re-sign and that was a report by Ric Bucher. During yesterday's Magic game they said that was absolutely not true ..

There's no way to "simplify" the deal. The Magic would need to take a lot of salary-cap crap from the Nets or take Humphries. There's no way to simplify it beyond that, and there's no "trying" to figure out the Humphries part. The Magic either take him or not.

Yep. Who wants to relive that nightmare? No thanks.

Bynum is a headcase, and injury prone.

I'll take any deal involving Houston that has us picking twice in the top 10 next year, creates cap space for a big free agent run in the near future, and sends him to the West.

I honestly want him to just shut up! No way the Brooklyn deal gets done over a trade with LA or Houston

Which is why I think this is Rob just talking to the Nets to keep Fegan happy.

No way the Magic take back Humphries and Lopez on long-term deals.

Bynum is reluctant to make a long-term commitment to Orlando, Wojnarowski notes.
