As a Lakers fan, I have spouted off before that the Lakers can get Howard for Bynum straight up. That's probably unrealistic. If Houston is getting Bynum instead of Howard, then they aren't going to be taking all of Orlando's bad contracts. People have said the Lakers don't have the ability to take on any bad contracts but that's not true. Something like this works:
Lakers trade: Andrew Bynum, Josh McRoberts, Christian Eyenga, Andrew Goudelock, 2017 1st round pick?
Lakers receive: Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon, Quentin Richardson
Rockets trade: Kevin Martin, Patrick Patterson, rights to Jeremy Lamb/Royce White/other guy they drafted(not all 3 obviously), Toronto's pick, maybe another pick
Rockets receive: Andrew Bynum, Jason Richardson
Magic trade: Dwight Howard, Jason Richardson, Chris Duhon, Quentin Richardson
Magic receive: Kevin Martin, Patrick Patterson, Josh McRoberts, Christian Eyenga, Andrew Goudelock, rights to Houston players, Toronto's pick, potentially 2 more picks(another Rockets 1st(?) and/or Lakers 2017 1st(?)
Aside from Patterson and the players they get that Houston drafted this year this would be all ending contracts for ORL. Eyenga has a team option next year. Houston would be taking Jason Richardson's contract and the Lakers would be taking Duhon and Quentin Richardson who combined are owed $6.729M in 2013-14.
