Orlando gets:

Marcus Morris
Toronto 2013 unprotected lottery pick
Houston 2013 unprotected lottery pick

Rockets get:
Andrew Bynum
PG Chris Duhon
PG Ramon Sessions
SG Jason Richardson

Lakers get:
Dwight Howard
Courtney Lee

I don't see la getting CLee without giving up more.

HOU is trying to SnT CLee for a 1st.

I thought he was gonna go to the celtics?

I am confused about the Houston pick because of the Houston fan's post earlier. I'm not getting too high or low about anything until I see, "agreed in principle" or "done deal" from several credible sources. So I am just entertained at this point by all the attempts to figure out the pieces and all.

You guys prefer this over us getting Bynum?

Rob prefer young players and picks. We would be getting tremendous talents back unlike that proposed Nets deal. Not to mention Toronto pick which likely will be in the lottery.

Either way is a gamble I guess. There's no guarantee Toronto's pick will be in the lottery. I just don't want to load up on mediocrity. None of these picks will be Durant or Westbrook. On the other hand Bynum's knee is one play away from disaster.

Allow me to clear up some misconceptions about Toronto's pick.

It is top 3 protected in 2013, top 2 protected in 2014, and top 1 protected in 2015. If they make the playoffs, they keep the pick and it rolls over to the next season. The risk there isn't huge.

if you read the timeline, he's just hyping up his boy. Wayns has been playing well, so he's trying to amp him up.

You'll see Wayns is hoping something happens by his reaction.

Didn't they use it to sign Nash?

I do not think so. I believe they traded draft picks and Phx received a new TPE

This will be my last post but keep in mind that the Lakers are getting Howard and not the Rockets and ask yourself would the Rockets offer the same thing for Bynum while taking on a contract like Richardson that they would if they were getting Howard instead of Bynum. I really think us getting Bynum makes the deal worse for you guys but I could be wrong.

I'd say Houston just signed Donatas to Orlando dont ask for him, why didnt they sign the other rookies? They KNOW that Donatas is the real deal and want to pair him with Bynum in 3 years when Scola gets old.

That's a great pick. It'd just suck if it wound up being the number one, two, or three pick this year.

I would think, since if we do the Howard deal, then he acts up and convinces Houston that he will leave, then they would just flip him to LA anyway. So it ends up the same way.

This is what I was thinking….. If Rockets get Bynum, I believe it has to be LAL taking back some back contracts….I would think the trade would be successful if we get Lamb, White, and TOR 1st while dumping a contract…. anything outside of that is making salaries match most likely Martin...

Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports

The rumored Houston, Lakers, Orlando proposal is very real. But that deal will be priority ONLY after talks with Brooklyn are dead.

Oh Rudolph....just shut up already. You don't have anybody inside the Magic organization telling you this stuff. Did Dwight text ya and tell you to say that?....lol. No talent clown.

You all think CLee would sign & trade to come here, when Dwight is leaving? I don't. He has already been through a rebuild with Jersey, when they broke a record for longest losing streak before getting their first win. If Dwight goes to Houston and that team will have him, I would think he would prefer to sign there or go on to Boston who he has also had talks with.

That's actually a great way of putting it. If we can't get an extension or promise from Bynum, I can see why we'd go with Houston. I wouldn't deal him to the Hawks because that's in the same division and their offer isn't that much better than the others. It's good, but IMO it's not worth keeping Dwight in teh same division.

So is it looking like Orlando wouldn't be getting Donatas back? If they can't get Bynum, I would love a Donatas, Chandler, Lamb, TOR pick package back
