Leon Smith
15 games, 104 total minutes played in the NBA.
edit: he's a first rounder, so he sticks out, though I think a lot of second rounders had even worse careers

Ha, was he injured? If not, he must've really stunk it up in those 15 games

Sticking with first rounders, I'll see your Leon Smith and raise you a Ndubi Ebi
http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/e/ebind01.html
19 games and only 86 minutes.
The funny thing is in his rookie year he had only 32 mins in 17 games
But then in his second year he only played 2 games and got 54 minutes total. They didn't play him all year and then let him play the last 2 games and he did well (18 points, 8 rebs in 28 mins) and then decided never to play him again.

5.Darko (if gets amnestied)
6.Joel Przybilla
7.Jordan Hill (not likely)
Dalembert, Okafor and Ian Mahinmi might also be available but we'll need to give up assets and trade for them.
A guy like okafor would be a perfect fit for this team. If we are able to make a run at him that has to be first priority. Kenyon martin would also be a nice addition. It would also be funny to land Darko and have 4 of the first 5 picks.
Lets be honest, Haslem, Miller, and anthony are all guys that we should be looking to move. I know a lot of people on here hate bringing Haslem into the discussion, but if we can get someone to take his contract we should make the move asap. He is no longer a part of our rotaion, and with our limited finiancial assets we can not be paying an undersized big who gives us nothing in most games.

I'd move Haslem + filler for Okafor or Kaman (s&t) in a heartbeat and replace him with K-Mart
I'd even throw in Cole and/or that Philly pick to get it done

@Moggs24 this is all true in regards to haslem, but could pat bring himself to do that? they all took less money to keep him in MIA. he took less money to stay (14 mil). he's been there his whole career. he's truly family. pat went to his mother's wake
i just can't see it

haha lets face it guys, haslems not going anywhere. thats not the riley way.
and for those of you saying to pick up oden, i think he's taking a year off so not really worth wasting a roster spot for him.

I think Ray Allen and Reshard Lewis being here means Lebron and Wade are about to see another career low in minutes in the regular season. Especially since we'll have more blowout wins but regardless, I think you can see Lebron playing 32 minutes most nights.
Got to preserve him for the playoffs, and for the next 5 years.

And you obviously haven't seen Haslem play in 2 years. Okafor is exactly what this team needs at C for 25 minutes or so. He defends, rebounds, and blocks shots.
If you wouldn't sacrifice UD at this stage in his career for Okafor, then something is seriously wrong with you.

I love UD as much as anyone here but this is a business. In this business, he's simply not getting it done at a level highly enough to make him even close to untouchable.

I've seen him play plenty, the difference is I'm not an ignorant fan. lol @ two years, yeah that's fair, the guy only missed 90% of last season due to injury, and you fail to realize Haslem was the X-Factor against Chicago in the ECF just fresh off the injury. He also had plenty of great moments this past year and in the playoffs, and he always brings an attitude to our players. Sorry if he's not your kind of guy but this isn't X-Box 360. Haslem stays and Riley isn't going to move him.

You are an ignorant fan, and your problem is your failure to see it. You're calling me out as someone who obviously hasn't seen Okafor play, yet you're defending Udonis Haslem? Compare them year by year any season and you'd be a fool to take Haslem over Okafor, especially with this team's glaring hole at C and the amount of versatile guys we've got who can fill in for UD at PF (Bosh, Battier, Lewis, LeBron).
Whether or not you watched Haslem play last season should have been the question. Obviously not. He came to life and had a few moments in the playoffs, but overall his play last year shouldn't get any better than a C grade. C+ maybe if you want to be "loyal" rather than "ignorant" LOL!
Also, I don't know where you get the "he's not your type of guy" garbage from. Never insinuated that at all. I'm just a guy who is all about improving the team at all costs. I'm a Heat fan before I'm a players fan.

I'm not even going to sit here and waste time arguing the stupidity in Okafor vs. Haslem for THIS team. It's beyond obvious which player would benefit this team the most. Not even debatable. Such a trade would never materialize to begin with.

On any other team and in any other situation, the idea of trading Haslem miiiiiiiight make sense. (Although, he's the best rebounder on the team, and he's a co-captain with Wade, and he's one of the best guys at getting everyone mentally prepared in huddles and in the locker room--he's obviously very valuable to the team).
So, I'm willing to admit that in a certain light, Haslem is a player who might be worth trading. But the fact of that matter is, Haslem is a Heat for life. He was offered full MLE deals from several teams in 2010, including title contenders like the Mavericks (who won the title that season). He took millions less to stay with the Heat. He's been a Heat captain for years. He was born and raised in Miami, went to school at UF, and has been with the Heat his entire career.
The Heat prides itself on loyalty and keeping the right kind of guys around on the team, and part of the organization and community. Haslem is exactly that. What kind of message would it send to other guys on the team, and future possible free agents, if were to trade this guy? If anything, Haslem and his relationship with the team define a lot of what the Heat is about. To trade him would negate the idea that the organization values loyalty and is a family (which LeBron claims is a big concept that sold him on the Heat--the fact that Miami's negotiating team was Riley, Spo, Zo, etc--all guys who have been with the team for 15+ years).
Bottom line--it surprises me so many people want to trade Haslem for some 8 point 8 rebound undersized center, considering how important Haslem is to the Heat in so many ways.

Well said.
As short a time as Juwan Howard has spent with us, I can see him staying with the organization after he retires(which may be this offseason).

Haslem is untouchable.End of story.Part of miamis allure is the family culture, what does it say if we move a hometown hero who has taken a paycut TWICE to stay with us for both championship.Building a team is more than just xs and os.

Yep, you're just plain ignorant. Go make that trade on your X-Box 360. Real life don't work that way, we aren't trading away D-Wade's brother for a guy who is barely better or not even better than the one we have on our roster.
