When did the national league actually get good?

Oh, it's still pretty terrible. Some good elite pitchers, though.

That is because they're cheating by using the DH.

Maybe. Or it's just because they have more talent and better rosters overall, which they clearly do.

Nope, back in Toronto right now visiting family on break. A shame, really. The HR derby was certainly fun yesterday (although today's game wasn't great at all).

Truth is, I got home halfway through the game and I couldn't be bothered to tune in.

(Plus John Kruk makes Buck Martinez look like Peter O'Toole, circa Lawrence of Arabia.)
