Mahinmi was traded to Indiana for 4mil per season in a S/T

so... that leaves Przybilla, Fesenko, Hollins, Collins, and Haddaddi at our only hopes of having a legit 7 foot center on the roster

Can you please explain to me how Fesenko would actually help this team? You REALLY want to sign a 7 foot, slow footed stiff who would not even get minutes to just clog the paint and not do ****.

The only guy I would consider on that list is Pryzbilla. The rest are ABSOLUTE sh*t. Just sign Pryz and use him whenever we want to play LA or wherever dwight goes. And I guess Haddaddi too... hes not great but better than the other 3. Other than that, no thanks

Ryan Hollins
Jason Collins
Fesenko

Just face it, these guys suck at basketball. No different from Big Z, Dampier, Maglorie, Joel, Pittman, whoever.

PS- I'm all for getting a decent center. But you just want to throw anyone out there.

With Mahinmi getting 16 million looks like we need to adjust our already low expectations
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.

From the press conference today, I would expect it to be pretty quiet for awhile. Riley said they have young hungry guys they want to see in summer league before they make a final decision on roster spots, and that there is always a phase towards the end of free agency where a few guys shake loose that are worth signing.

Given the lack of scheduled visits and those comments, I would guess that Miami does not see anyone currently on the market that they like (and realistically think they can afford). Which is not surprising given that Mahinmi contract.

So its wait and see mode: who's best in the summer league, and who gets cut for caps/tax reasons as we approach training camp?

That's what I was thinking too. Pat's basically signaled that the last couple roster spots will most likely go to the young guys from the SL roster. There really isn't anyone in FA, even big men, that we can go after, either not fitting with the team or just too expensive.

Yep. He said hungry young guys.

Hopefully that Justin Hamilton kid plays lights out for us in the summer league, that youtube video I saw of him makes me think he's perfect for us with that jumpshot he has.

I actually have hope for him  Spo said he's got a high motor and plays hard every possession. Tough kid who battles. Hopefully he can show what he can do in SL. Same with Dex and Norris Cole.

If Justin Hamilton can rebound and try his best on defense while making open jumpers, he'll have a spot on the roster. Part of the rotation? Probably not.

He did, but then he said there are always vets who become available at the end of FA. So I think being the best on the summer league roster won't be enough, guys are going to have to prove they're worth the investment

I would stick with what we have because those are terrible options. Maybe take a chance on Oden if we can get him cheap or search the D league.

None of them are worth worrying over.
