Brook Lopez would be a very good match with Minnesota

If we could trade pekovic for a starting guard/wing man. Should we pick up brook lopez on a 10 million dollar option to play Center. He doesn't rebound well but is a great offensive big. He honestly matches up very well with kevin love as a player.

Not awful. He is top 10 in blocks per game. He is a very bad rebounder though. But kevin love makes up for that. Brook Lopez is fast and has a 7'5 wingspan and is 7 feet tall. Actually looking at the drating and defensive rapm he sucks.

Klomp should be able to handle this one. It is Lynx related, yes?

If we are going for a sorft poor rebounding center the target has to be Bargnani.

Pek only has 1 year left on his deal, after this next year he could very well get 10 mill a year offers if he improves on last season which is very likely.

Yep ... he came along way this past season ... I hope he can take another step to consistency

Even hypothetically, Pek at 10 mill/year> Lopez at 4.5 mil/year

Lopez would be a TERRIBLE center to pair with Love. No thanks.

Much rather keep Pek and spend the money on a wing. Oh wait, we're in the process of doing that already.

trust me, as a new yorker and knicks fan who gets all the Nets game on the YESNetwork, you do not want lopez and he's a bad fit for your type of team. guy isn't a stiff, but he can't run up and down with a pg like ricky. he has awful hands and the guy couldn't rebound to save his life. he even admitted he doesn't put the effort in on the boards.

It's between him and Jeff Green as the worst signing of the summer. You don't give a max deal to a guy who essentially just missed a full season and was only a decent center to begin with.

Considering how bad Lopez's defense and ability to rebound are, I don't think he wants to step into the octagon.
