Center - Camby/Anthony (If no S&T)/Pittman
Power Forward- Bosh/ FA signing (Brand??)
Small - Lebron/Battier/Miller/James Jones?
Shooting Guard - Wade/ RAY ALLEN/Cole
Point Guard - Chalmers/Cole/Free Agent Signing

You might think im shooting for the moon here, but that's the point! All records are made to be broken and I think the Bulls stand a great chance of losing that mark this year. LeBron hasn't peaked yet, Bosh is hitting his prime, Ray Allen is the greatest pure shooter of all time, and Wade is amazing. Don't forget about Rio who is making a Rondo like ascent on this title team. Ray will hate playing with him but will love the reward.

forget camby or elton brand but wat pops out most is chalmers is a upper pg.....lmao i been threw misery but this just makes me smile

We could be the 8th seed and i wouldn't care, as long as we get into the playoffs healthy we have a shot at winning. Breaking the Bulls' record would be nice, but staying healthy is the big goal and winning ring #3 is the ultimate goal.

There are 30 NBA teams. Roughly speaking, their starting pg's would be divided up as follows:

"upper tier" = top 10 starting pg's in the league
"middle tier" = starting pg's who rank 11-20
"lower tier" = substandard starting pg's who rank 21-30.

Mario Chalmers is not one of the top 10 pg's in the NBA. Not even close. It's really doubtful he's even in the top 20.

Chalmers is almost certainly in the "lower tier" category of starting pg's (21-30 range).

I am not even going to read through this whole thread and just cut to the chase. Our goal is absolutely NOT 73 wins. We want homecourt as much as possible and anything more then that the goal is REST for everybody at when the opportunity presents itself, THAT is the strategy. Being 100% healthy and playing well is what we want heading into the postseason, not pushing the guys to insane minute totals chasing 73 wins, the management of health and minutes happens far before you even know you have a shot at 73 wins. if it happens it happens or if they get on a streak and run off 20+ in a row then maybe you start thinking about it but you dont start a season with that goal, you finish the season with that goal if you even approach striking distance. too many variables at work to aim for that.

focus on the rehab of Wade and Ray Ray before deliberating about this topic too much. trust me. first things first. we won the first title ONE step at a time, I know Heat fans make fun of Spo for saying "the process" but truth is that cliche phrase is undeniably true.
