Kobe comments on Lebron

Kobe sounds a little butthurt. Maybe he's getting annoyed at people putting Lebron over him even though he has 5 and Lebron only has 1. What do you guys think about it?

He's right. But LeBron knows he needs to keep winning so...yea.

Nothing Kobe said was wrong nor do I think he sounds "butthurt." Just stating the obvious... LeBron still got to win more to be in the conversation with those all time greats.

Lebron definitely knows that. He said that much himself to Shaq and Chuck in the postgame but why would Kobe be trying to remind him though?

He's already in that convo imo. If individual greatness was measured by rings, Bill Russell would be the GOAT.

I'm pretty sure Kobe was asked the question and genuinely responded. Last I heard, Kobe and LeBron having become close friends so I don't see any ill intent in what he's saying.

He comes off as insecure to me like he sees Lebron as a challenge to his legacy and things like that. Lebron is better than him but Kobe has no need to be insecure.

This thread comes off as way more insecure than anything Kobe said.

I disagree with some of you guys. LeBron doesn't need more titles. He's going to get some, but he doesn't need them. Greatness of a basketball player shouldn't be measured on titles. It's a team game. Some guys have better teammates than other guys. Kobe has had Shaq, Glen Rice, Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Artest, and now Nash. Other than these last 2 seasons, LeBron's best teammates in his first 8 seasons was Mo Freakin Williams. Kobe winning more titles with Shaq than LeBron did with Mo Williams doesn't make Kobe better in my book. Kobe is a scorer, LeBron is an all around player. But on any given night, LeBron can match Kobes points, but on any given night, Kobe CAN NOT match LeBrons rebounding or assists. LeBron is already the better player

Kobe is just upset that lebron won a title won the league mvp and won all the awards by himself and did not leave a thing to him.

I wish bron wasnt on the usa team and kobe didnt wish jack.

Kobe just wants to hog all the fame for himself.

That's great and all. But as long as he's playing for the Miami Heat he needs to keep winning titles. I don't care about any of that other stuff.

Suggesting that individual greatness is measured by championships by saying"one won't cut it" that's my biggest beef with that because if players were measured by rings, Russell would be the GOAT. That's not a mentality that i support.

What about only 1 reg season MVP award not cutting it? And thats an INDIVIDUAL award, rings are a TEAM achievement, last time i checked there is one ring for each player, coach and even staff, theres only 1 MVP award. BTW, Kobe has only 2 Finals MVP's in 7 tries, and he didnt looked too good in those winning those by default imo. Kobe is simply jealous of Lebron right now.. he is like that. Remember when Shaq won here and Kobe said amount of rings didnt matter to him, that it was not a competition with Shaq? Until the moment he passed him, go check what was the first thing Kobe said in that finals press conference.... Hes just Jealous.. im sure.
