The big question now is what happens to Mark Appel. He's one of the only holdouts left in the 1st round. If he doeasnt sign he's turning down 2.8 million and he'll be a college senior next year. What kind of gamble is that? Also what will teams thing about him next year after these negotiations.

Wow, getting Borucki is sort of a big deal, at least as far as these things go. A tough-sign, uber-projectable lefty ( 6-4, 175lbs) with present velocity. Could have gone a lot higher in the draft if it weren't for an arm injury.

Not surprising, really would be interesting to see what happens with him next year. Sounds like he's the favourite to go 1st Overall next year.
