They went from BK to KY. No vaseline!

Meaning they will rape or receive it?

Wow, that team is gonna suck unless the stars align and somehow everyone's true love appears, cheered on by flying pigs

damn that deal is just horrible

Wow, that REALLY hurts for those Nets fans, still gonna be stuck in mediocrity

If the Nets aren't as profitable as everyone is projecting right now, and by the next CBA discussion, they're not making a boat load of money, this is going to be exibit A for the bad owner crowd.

The Nets will do okay marketing wise, especially if they start winning more than the Knicks. But the problem is Prokhorov is going to have to pay severe tax penalties for a team that is no better than a 1st-2nd round exit.

I skimmed the Dwight thread, gotta say that Shaheen guy is the poster boy for delusional Nets fans, Prokhorov is gonna love those. So Lopez > Johnson :lol:

If I was the GM of the Nets there is no way I would have re-signed Brook Lopez for anything more than $10M per year... personally, I would have done a S&T deal and got him out of there!

It's Shaheen... But at the risk of validating him by responding, if Lopez doesn't learn how to rebound on a team with Dwill, JJ and Wallace, there's no way he sniffs 18pts...

What does he rebounding have to do with his ability to score? Im no Shaheen defender or Lopez apologist but lets not act like the man isnt a 18-20 pt threat. He isnt a scrub and he doesnt suck. He just isnt a good rebounder and up until last year where he played 5 games he and Bynum avg around the same amt of blocks a game.

Sorry fellas for derailing this thread by quoting a delusional Nets fan.

Now time for me to bring this thread back to life.

Brian K. Shimtz
@MagicInsider
Hennigan also said he spoke with Dwight today and added "there's a chance, yeah"
that Howard could return to ORL. Unbelievable.

He now has to compete with at least one shooter/scorer in JJ and a playmaker in Wallace... Not to mention Williams... It ain't just him anymore.
If I'm reading BBall Reference right, JJ attempted more shots a game than Kobe last season and Wallace takes quite a few shots too.
He's going to have to clean the offensive glass if he wants to get to those numbers.
