Yep, those who think MWP can't defend anymore haven't paid attention to what every other defender is doing against KD and Lebron.

Newsflash: No one in the league is stopping those two anymore. The best you can hope for is making it very difficult for them to score, which very few in the league do as well as Metta. No one else has the size, strength and foot speed to make offensive players work hard for their points like MWP.

Until we either find a suitable replacement(and no a 40 yo grant hill won't do), or until KD and Lebron both join rebuilding teams, MWP is going to be a key piece to our championship aspirations.

Gentlemen,

Good reads on Hill defensively. He's underrated.

I've watched Hill draw the toughest assignments over the past couple of seasons - Durant, LeBron, Dirk, Rose, PGs, PFs, etc.

I would much rather have Hill as SF than Artest. Massive BBIQ, silky smooth jumper, great transition game, insane passing ability, awesome working relationship with Nash, etc.

However, at this point, isn't Peace more reliable guarding a Durant or LeBron? Peace is also more durable.

Peace easily. What he brings defensively is immeasurable.

ron brings more size/toughness and underrated playmaking skills. Quick powerful hands making up for his height in a rebounding crowd situation. lets not forget he striped cp3 on the open floor...seriously who does that to him these days? also lets not forget he does the bicep kissing which excites the crowd....i want that.

Err ... Hill's defense on Durant has been insanely good.

Err bull...Hill is 40 years old and ive seen him struggle to guard Kobe 1 on 1 on the perimeter. Durant is 6 10 and weak bodied...he would get destroyed in the keyword Playoffs having to guard him night in and night out. Another issue with Hill he wont be strong enough to guard Lebron in the post. Alot of you guys are just high on Nash fever and think Grant Hill is just going to come to LA and avg 11 a game. Lets not forget that he was the 2nd or 3rd option on that team. LA wont be running plays for him here. No reason why LA should be picking up a 40 year old player that isnt Steve Nash.

Metta hands down. Grant Hill seems like a lateral move at best. I also question how many minutes can he log? There are better moves to be made that address some of our more glaring issues such as outside shooting.

I don't want Hill over Peace. I'll take them both with Hill being the sixth man. If it's one or the other, I'm keeping peace.

sign Hill on the minimum, keep Peace, and package Ebanks with Bynum and Blake in the three way trade for Howard

but if I had to choose one between the two, i'd go for Hill, just cause he'd be cheaper.
