Who knows, if Hump actually plays well Orlando might want him in December in exchange for Big Baby.

I REALLY hope this doesn't drag out to Jan.

Hump wants a multi-year guaranteed deal which Orlando certainly wont take back. Also Orlando GM has already stated that he wouldn't take Lopez in a deal if he were signed to the deal BK just gave him...

I don't understand all this love for Iggy on these boards. He's a great defender but a bad shooter who defers even more on offense than Pau does. I would never consider trading Bynum for Iggy and Young, the thought is just utterly ridiculous to me. I wouldn't even trade Pau for Iggy.

Man I am just still laughing at all you fools who thought that Nets/Cavs/Clippers/whoeverthef_ck trade was happening.

They'd better do something, their current projected starting PF likes to shoot 4 pters. They built that team assuming they'd have Howard on roster at season's opening so they surrounded the center position with nothing but shooters, a lot like the Orlando mold. But instead of Howard, they'll have Lopez who isn't much of an inside presence and who's a shooter himself. Mirza Teletovic doesn't appear that he has it in him to battle for rebounds and we all know Lopez doesn't, that front court is going to get destroyed often and extremely early.

Orlando would take Humphries if his agent wasn't Dan Fegan. Orlando's plan is to ship Howard out along with all of Fegan's other clients on their roster, which is why Duhon and Richardson are mentioned in every Howard scenario.

I don't "value" players specifically on statistics. I like Iggy and thads athleticism next to nash. If we are going on statistics by itself then shawn marion/boris diaw/raja bell/etc all were clearly overrated. I'm not saying iggy and thad are the best options. I'm just saying "basketball wise" athleticism and players that defer to Kobe/Pau/Nash aren't necessarily a bad thing on our team. I think Nash can get a lot out of iggy and thad that could help our team. Overall, all I am asking is to trade Bynum for a athletic/defensive wing or forward, a stretch/ athletic forward ala Ibaka, and young back up Center or pg.

Nash
Kobe
Athletic/Defensive SF
Athletic PF who can shoot
Pau

will be a lot better than you think. Plus a veteran bench..I like our chances especially if we run the Princeton offense.

OH!!! Makes sense why i'm not seeing Hedo mentioned much and he's the worst contract of them all. Man, Fegan is that bad eh

I'm sure they'd love to offload Hedo's contract as well but nobody's going to take that.

I agree but they just let go of Ryan Anderson at $9M, I doubt they take Hump on a multi-year guaranteed deal. It seems as if Orlando is looking to get rid of all their bad contracts first, and then talent..

Why would Dwight take the chance of wearing anything purple and gold related while staying in L.A., makes no sense. And from the twit pic she says "Wearing a Lakers snap back".

Al Iannazzone
Kobe Bryant said he’s been following the Dwight Howard saga – to a certain degree. “I kind of stopped doing it because it changes every two minutes,” Bryant said. The Lakers and Magic have discussed a Howard-for-Andrew Bynum trade. Bryant, who now calls Steve Nash a teammate, said Howard would be a good fit in Los Angeles. “Oh yeah, he would,” Bryant said. “Absolutely he would.” If Bynum remains with the Lakers, Bryant isn’t concerned about his mental state after being named in trade discussions.
“That won’t bother him at all,” Bryant said. “Andrew’s a big boy. He can handle it better than others." #Lakers "Magic
