Kobe's right about Drew, he tends to just shrug it off. But I do see it potentially altering his decision in resigning with us.

Pretty much all the Orlando fans are still expecting a trade. They can't and don't want to see him on opening day in their uniform.

Cavs have had talks on possible sign&trade sending Antawn Jamison to Nets, sources tell Y! Lakers can only offer minimum. GS & CHA in mix too

Lakers could pay Jamison more than the minimum if they did a S&T deal with the Cavs.

I think Josh McRoberts $3.1M expiring contract could be traded to the Cavs.

Orlando fans shouldn't worry, even if he's with the Magic he'll likely be in a suit.

....Although many Magic fans have clamored for the team to trade Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers for All-Star center Andrew Bynum, any potential Magic-Lakers deal faces a significant hurdle.

Magic officials have concerns about the health of Bynum's knees, according to two NBA sources with knowledge of the team's thinking. Bynum's lengthy injury history worries the Magic more than the fact that Bynum is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2012-13 season.

With the Nets out of the picture until at least mid-January and with a deal for Bynum facing a roadblock, the Houston Rockets now might be the front-runners to acquire Howard. The Rockets, desperate to add some star power to their perpetually mediocre roster, are willing to trade for Howard even if Howard gives them no assurance that he will remain with the franchise beyond next season....

if this is true, mitch has to be sick of orlandos back and forth mentality when it comes to trading for bynum. if i were him, id set a date, and make it clear to everyone by said date that andrew bynum will be taken off the market. ie: friday the 13th. this way, we either get a trade done by said date, or we say eff it and roll with the core four we have set.

all this trade drama is hindering the potential FA signings we could use to fill out the rest of our bench.

ye i know. but i feel andrew bynum has more value to ORL than lopez and **** picks do. and if he really doesnt care and doesnt want to make a trade, then so be it. Lakers dont NEED dwight, though, he definitely fits with the team were putting together. Bynum proved he can be a 20/10 player. and with a pg that can get him the ball in the spots hes most efficient, bynum should average right around those numbers.

I guess what im saying is that we shouldnt let ORL dictate how we run our offseason. but ideally, id like to see dwight in LA.

To be frank this team will be better slightly offensively but we are worst off defensively especially against PnR. We still havent secured Jordan Hill or any bench player worth playing yet.

So lets say Dwight comes out and says "trade me to the Lakers" and even agrees to an extension...Does that help us in any way? Do we up our offer knowing that Dwight would extend? Right now we have nothing on Houston....we have the best player to offer but they probably have a better package. Dwight has said that doesn't wanna play for either team... Would the Bulls not matching Asik help us out?

Worst off defensively? Sessions and Blake weren't doing a good job defending the PnR let alone their own man.

I think our increase in offense is far greater than our decline on defense. I mean honestly...how much worse can we get on P & R defense?

Rockets Consider Using Amnesty On Luis Scola
July 11 at 9:12pm CST By Chuck Myron

While an earlier report suggested the Rockets are trying to trade Luis Scola to clear space for a Howard deal , Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle says the team is considering using the amnesty clause on him, likely within the next 48 hours. Scola is set to make close to $8.6MM next year, and has two more years for a guaranteed $19.6MM left on his deal after that, with a non-guaranteed $11MM season tacked on the end of his deal.

Talks between the Magic and the Rockets grew "serious" Wednesday before the Magic backed off, Feigen writes. The Rockets will be careful to preserve assets conducive to a deal as it pursue free agents like Aaron Brooks and others.
