If you have a chance to keep one of the best centers to ever play the game you do whatever it takes. Our chances of winning a championship with dwight greatly outweigh our chances without him, especially if another superteam forms that is not us.

As long as he signs the 5 year deal then there are no issues with trust, what can he do....demand another trade.

Nothing back is better than taking Brook Lopez at a max deal.

I dunno about keeping Dwight. Has all the trust gone? I know I would struggle to ever appreciate him again. Another one of his buddies holla at him and he demands a trade a year or two down the track? Henny wants guys that want to play here and put the Orlando Magic first. Dwight can't and won't do that. Jameer will not be happy, despite what Big Baby is saying. I am over dramas and the crap that happened last year. Dwight is a cancer on the lockeroom. I know his talents and what he would offer us, but we still need to find the pieces to put with him to be a contender. Who have we got now? Where is our big three? We are handicapped due to hideous contracts that we can't move unless it is traded with Dwight.

Heard from an unreliable source lol that the Rockets have confirmed to be willing to take on Jason Richardson, Hedo and Duhon to get Dwight. The bad contracts and clearing of the cap that would clear would be right up Rob's thinking.

I'm just unsure at the moment. Dwight has hurt me too much to ever want him back. I was actually looking forward to a new era without him to be honest. We'll see.

Oh my God! Why don't you just lick his rear end and get it over with? I hope this is NOT accurate. I know it will excite some of you but I guess I am old fashioned. I won't be crap*ed on and then ask the offender to do it yet again. Winning seems to have overridden any sense of decency and behavior. We tolerate ANY kind of deviant behavior in our athlete's as long as they can stuff a basketball, throw a football, hit a curve ball, etc.
And then we make excuses for them to justify their behavior. In Howards case, it's because he "got some bad advice". Of course we are to believe Howard had to control over himself, or his actions. I apologize. I didn't mean to get on my soapbox. It just really bothers me...as a fan and a human being.

Your probably spot on actually. would be a smart move. If you listen to all Rob's press conferences, I really doubt we will see Dwight back...

Can't believe they're really doing this.

I imagine Henny is mad that he's not being offered top 5 player value for him, which is silly since it's just a rental and he has a bad back. That's the only reason I can see him going back to Dwight since he knows there would be a ton of backlash to keeping Dwight (especially after all the fans moved on since they said they were gonna trade him b4 the season) - he must think the offers are too low

I wish instead of asking him to reconsider staying they asked him to reconsider where he'd sign an extension. Houston would probably give up way more assets if he would just agree to go there

It is not like Dwight wants out of Orlando and to anywhere but Orlando. Houston doesn't put him in a better sitution. Perhaps he really wanted Brooklyn but if not he'd perfer Orlando? It is open righ now to anything.
