I don't see the Diaz brothers comparison, maybe I just haven't paid enough attention to him.
I don't see the Roy/Cody comparison either and I don't lump them in the same group. I personally think those who want Nelson to move down are misguided. LHW is a much better division than HW. Guys, HW sucks.

Re: UFC on Fuel TV: Munoz vs. Weidman (July 11th)
Re: Diaz comparison, during the Mendes fight, Cody was mean-mugging the entire 31 seconds before he got KO'd. Even in the lead-up to the fight he tried to project this bad boy image, refusing to touch gloves, talking smack, blah blah blah. It wasn't working for him.
As far as Roy goes, I was speaking in terms of aesthetics. Roy is very talented as opposed to Cody being a one-trick pony. But for the casual viewer who sees the two and hears about their lifestyle, I'm sure some judgement is passed on them. Roy doesn't give a **** about his diet. If he dedicated himself and dropped to 205, he wouldn't have to deal with a size and reach disadvantage. He'd be able to put his BJJ and wrestling to better use at 205 and wouldn't have to worry so much about getting KO'd. He has a great chin and I don't think too many guys could KO him at 205. On the flip side, you could be impressed by Roy for holding his own at HW and not being some sculpted figure. There's some pride in that I guess, and at least it's more challenging than...
Cody, on the other hand, who is fighting at 145 when his body is more suitable to 170 with his height and reach. He fights not one, but two weight classes below to compensate for his skill, or lack thereof, and tries to overpower guys and finish them with his guillotine. It's shameful to me. The smoking and poor diet probably doesn't help either.

Weidman looked great last night. Had he done that on a PPV or Fox card he would get an immediate title shot. But, he did it on Fuel and no one saw, so he is due another title contender fight.
I think up next for all involved should be...
Weidman vs. Belfort
Munoz vs. Sonnen
Te Huna vs. Forrest
Beltran vs. Luiz Cane
Simpson vs. Story
Robertson vs. Brenneman
Carmont vs. Rony Markes
Vemola vs. Lawlor
Dillashaw vs. Bowles
Lee vs. Page
dos Anjos vs. Nurmagomedov
Njokuani vs. Jeremy Stephens
Caceres vs. Assuncao
Page vs. Vaughn Lee
Cariaso vs. Gaudinot
Craig vs. Dollaway
Natal vs. Fukuda
Assuncao vs. Caceres

Really good main card with some exciting wrestling. And I'm not one to really dig wrestling that much, but dudes were pretty damn active and lots of scrambles.
